I just had my friend staying there, and they had nothing but complements. They noted specifically that the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice (not gorgeous, but above average, and certainly above expectations). The location was great, close to the universities and easy access for getting into the city. The subway is close by, which easily takes you into the city, or cabs can take you directly in for approx <$8.

I was at my wits end looking for a doctor that would help me and be on my side. I had tried several at other local and highly reputable hospitals and always left feeling invalidated and rejected.
Dr. Podolsky listened to me. Which is something I felt no one else was doing.
My procedure/surgery was so quick and had no drawbacks whatsoever. To be honest not a week goes by that I don't want to thank him for being progressive and professional. I'm so glad he was there, and lucky I found him.

I had to have complete reconstructive surgery on both of my feet. I had my right foot done in November 2005, and my left foot done March of 2007. I HIGHLY recommend these doctors, they are compassionate and excellent at what they do. I had issues since I was six,and went to approx. 50-60 doctors looking for answers. I got the answer I needed the 1st time I went here. Unfortunately, it took 18 years for me to find it. Dr Downey and Dr Shannon rock!

Although I live a long way from Nazareth Hospital, I still come here now and then for x-rays and other medical work. Unlike many other hospitals, Nazareth actually treats you with kindness and compassion. The interior has been renovated, and the front waiting area is now complete with hardwood floors and sumptuous furnishings. There is even a relaxation pond outside! The best thing about this hospital is how they treat every customer well. Whether you have HMO or PPO coverage, or even no coverage at all, they will still treat you well. I applaud their hard work.
The doctors here really know their stuff!

I took my son here to get his heart checked and I have to say that they are one of the best hospitals in Philly for children. From the moment I walked in I felt very comfortable and welcome in this hospital. The hospital is brightly decorated ina decor welcoming to children. The staff seem to be polite and helpful. Everyone seemed to be weel trained and it is worth the money it costs.
The only downside is that the parking costs a good amount of money, but don't let that deter you. I am not from Philly and their prices seem to be standard compared to other places I have been. Street parking really isn't an option either.

Dr. Gyulai is one of very few psychiatrists that uses evidence-based medicine. There is a tendency for psychiatrists to just shoot in the dark when it comes to medications: If one doesn't work, just give you another. Also, numerous psych. just diagnose you with depression and anxiety, a condition that just about everyone seems to have nowadays.
When I came in for an evaluation, he said, "So you want a diagnosis? Well...I want to keep you under observation." Once symptoms started to pop up, he finally converged to a diagnosis. Dr. Gyulai is scientific in his approach in that he changes one medication while holding all others constant, which is a method of evidence-based medicine that is becoming more and more rare.
Dr. Gyulai was highly recommended by researchers at Penn and is world-renowed in his field. He is board certified in both Psychiatry and Nuclear Medicine, and has a passion for what he does. However, he is ALWAYS extremely busy. Be prepared for a long wait-time for an initial consultation.
He's my favorite doctor overall.

I have had this large scar on my knee since I was 15 years olds. So because of that I would not wear anything where you could see it. I would always wear long skirts or pants. Well, one day I decided I wanted to do something about i, and i did some research on my options. I tried a number of things like wearing the patches that are supposed to flatten your scars (that did not work). Anyway I was scared of plastic surgery but I decided to give it a go. And my first consultation went lovely I was not ashamed. The doctor told me the price for my surgery would be around 1,500( a fair price). And that he could make my scar better but it would never go away.On the day of my surgery i was nervous but I trusted my doctor. It was a bit painful but worth it in the end. You can hardly see the scar and now I feel more comfortable wearing what I want

My children have been patients of Dr. Childs since they were babies. My son is now 18 and my daughter 15 and sadly we must switch out of the pediatric practice. Dr. Childs is extremely caring and a very thorough doctor. She has her own building located in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia and is affiliated with Roxborough Memorial Hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Childs to anyone who needs a pediatrician.

Great location, great chiropractor, great massage therapist. They're open Monday, Wedensday and Friday with very convenient hours. They accept a lot of insurance and a lot of payment methods. They do more than just chiropractic and massage too. They also do sports therapy and nutritional counseling. Both guys are really friendly and do a really good job. I would recommend them to anyone.
