The name Foodery is a misnomer because most people don't go to it for food. Although technically The Foodery is a convenience store, the main "convenience" item that people get here is beer. For such a small space the selection is terrific (Microbrews, European, Asian, you name it). Best of all, the beer is chilled and ready to drink. The 10% discount on a mix-or-match six pack won't save you too much: chances are you'll walk out with an $18 six-pack. But that won't stop you from going back since it's the only place where you can buy beer to go within walking distance of Wash Square and Society Hill.
