Great Place to Shop Furniture 8/13/2010

We were referred to Minima by friends who furnished their house with them. We were greeted by a very friendly staff and introduced to the owner. We needed a lot of help not just furnishing our house but design services as well. The owner graciously and patiently with her design partner work with us not just designing but consulting us with the construction of our house. They recommended many local carpenters for custom kitchen and bathrooms which were very high quality. Minima spent with us three months just consulting and picking our beautiful furniture which we cherish with our family. From the beginning to the end very professional with a great design sense. when our friends come over they can't stop complementing about our furniture. Recently we purchased a book at Minima " Restoring a house in the City" which features the only Philadelphia historical house renovated and furnished by them. It has a 12 page spread with beautiful images of the house. more

Im out the door 2/21/2006

Minima is a store for people with an upscalesense of style. Straight from the pages of magazines you will find the furniture here. A lot of the pieces are breathtaking and one day amy be worth a nice chunk of change. I found some employees to be nice but some were less that cordial. If you want to spend your money on over priced furniture go ahead. It could be a good investment. The shop is clean but boring. I couldn't stay for too long. more

contemporary furniture store 10/20/2005

Minima is a very modern furniture store. The place is very “minimal” as far as design goes, and the furniture has very smooth, long lines. The furniture is really nice and well made, but caters to a very specific customer. If you aren’t into modern, then this wouldn’t be a place for you. Also, you have to be willing to lay down some major money because these pieces won’t come cheap. Much of the furniture is European and can bring in a very high dollar amount since it isn’t something you can get very many places. more
