Their Bubble Tea is Ok on a good day, usually it is not mixed well (still powdery) and many times the bubbles are quite mushy. The price is quite expensive for such poor bubble tea. They also offer a few dishes, but I would not recommend anything other than the Sweet potato fries, which I really did enjoy. The space is a lil cramped, and can get loud if it is busy, but all in all I would prefer a trip to Chinatown for bubble tea. I would only go here is I could not get down to Chinatown.

Conveniently located on the Penn campus, it's an affordable option for college students. It's a small restaurant with a fairly big menu. There is a huge number of flavors of bubble teas like raspberry sour and thai, which is really popular. They have a $1 off sunday and monday night happy hour. The food is delicious and they offer vietnamese hoagies, dumplings, sweet potato fries, rice entrees, and noodles.

Ever had bubble-tea? Bubble tea is tea (usually flavored with unique flavors like Taro, Chocolate, Cinnamon, Banana, Oreo, etc) with tapioca balls at the bottom. You can mix and match various flavors to come up with flavors like "Chocolate Covered Banana" and "Vanilla Cookie." You can drink it hot, but its usually served called. And you are given a big fat straw, so you can suck up the tapioca balls as you drink the tea. Sound strange enough? I thought so. However, if you are near Penn's law school and feeling daring, this place is worth visiting! Not only do they serve tea, but contrary to popular belief, Bubble House is actually a sit down restaurant. Their menu is limited to a few salads and entrees but still worth a look. I recommend trying their sweet potato fries, which are absolutely delicious! You can sit upstairs at their tables or downstairs at their cosy couch and relax area. So, grab a bubble tea, some yummy fries and go down there with your class reading for a unique experience. If anything else, at least you can say you've finally tried that fad all your friends keep talking about, "bubble tea."

The prices of the bubble tea are expensive, but it is the best place to get it if you care about atmosphere. I agree that down in china town the bubble tea might be cheaper, but the atmosphere at the bubble house is nice and clean. As for the other food, it is OK. Not great, and certainly high priced. I would not go here for anything other than the bubble tea.

The restaurant itself has a nice air and is well decorated, but don't be upheld by that; this place is a joke. Their bubble tea is enormously overpriced, their vietnamese hoagies are just sandwiches, and their korean barbeque chicken wraps just chicken finger wraps with joe's bbq sauce on them. You could probably get the same food for one fourth the price at your university commons. I haven't seen much else other than these, but this place is operated by asian-wannabe-whites who don't have a clue to what they are doing. Always ask about what you are ordering, because it's quite likely that you will not get what you expect. If you inquire, the waiters will admit that their food is americanized and nothing like what you would find at a cheap store in chinatown. If you decide to go here nonetheless, I advise you to try out their pepperjack-duck samosas. At 2$ a piece, this expensive delicacy might be one of the few things of value in this store.
