I recently had my kitchen totally remodeled by Donatuccis. It’s beautiful. I know the price was sharp because my husband shopped it from here to heaven. What I wanted to write about particularly were the two installers and their helpers who worked in my home. They are true gentleman. I’ve been through the ringer before and these guys were the polar opposite. They were unfailingly polite and considerate of my family. Disruption was a minimum. They showed up when they said they’d show up. I can’t say enough about Frank and Carmen. I recommend them highly. Pros: Good people in all facets of the job.

I shopped the home centers and wanted to give the local guys a try. A friend from my wife's office told me to try Donatuchis. We're glad that we did. I just wrote Mr. Donatuchi a note and I wanted to help them out on the web if I could. I really liked all of the selection and their price sounded pretty good. About a week later I received a call from Mr. Donatuchi about a promotion Kraftmaid was running on my Maple cabinets. He helped me through it and saved me an extra 10 percent. That's money I would not have found without him. I know I wouldn't get that at a Home Center. They delivered it in 3 weeks (even though my wife wanted a special color). and it fit perfectly too. They made me a real nice corian counter and saved me a bunch on the appliance package. I wouldn't have thought this 3 months ago, but it pays to shop the mid-size and family owned guys. Pros: Personal Service. People that care Cons: Need to advertise more

I used to work at a home center in the area. Every few months my boss would have me write fictitious negative reviews about our toughest competitors. I now realize what a @#$%^ he was. I'm going back through 'my list' trying to right a wrong. Donatucci Kitchens was probably our primary independent competition. We carry the same cabinetry line (Kraftmaid). They always blew away our prices. My boss had us post a couple of negative reviews and then would reference them to a customer when he got himself into a price jam. I owe them and the many of my old clients an apology. Pros: Prices are tough to beat. Very Experienced Staff Cons: Misinformation put out by people like my old boss

It took 3 months to receive the wrong cabinets. And was anyone apologetic about it? or offered us a discount for their mistake? NO they did not. What an appalling group of people! I purchased cabinets and appliances from Donatucci in late DEC 07. Delivery date for the product was supposed to be early FEB. A month goes by, my check is cashed and Donatucci calls to tell us the cabinet style we picked was discontinued. Cabinets were finally delivered in mid-march. Why would it take 1 month to findout the cabinets were discontinued? If your speciality is kitchens, wouldn't you think they would know about the products they sell? Why was my check cashed before a firm order fo the cabinets was placed? When the cabinets were finally delivered one of the doors was damaged. The sink facuet did not fit the countertop. Crown molding that was supposed to be delivered with the cabinets didn't come until April 3rd. We were told the project would take 2 weeks by our contractor, but because of Donatucci's failure to fulfill their responsibility to their customer the project is now into its 5th week. Think about having no access to your kitchen for 4 weeks! When questioning Donatucci, they were less than helpful. It was so bad during one conversation we got into a screaming match and I was hung up on. Go figure, thousands of dollars spent at their store and they find it perfectly acceptable to argue and hang up on a customer. It seems when they take your money they wash their hands of everything. This is not a isolated incident. With a little research on the web you'll find other horror stories like mine Definately not a customer friendly organization. A bit of friendly advice, save yourself the aggravation, find another supplier. They are a dime a dozen. No sense spending you money or wasting your time patronizing such an company. Struggling to find the right contractor for my kitchen remodel, a coworker recommended I take a ride over to Donatuccis in South Philly. She said that the father had done her parents kitchen in the 70s and that his sons had just provided her kitchen a year ago. I walked into the showroom and WOW! It was four times the size of any kitchen and bath showroom I had ever seen. Not knowing where to start, a designer/salesperson came over and helped me sort out between all of the choices and allow my husband and I to focus on what was best for us. She came out to our home and got the measurements and feedback on the way we live. SHe presented us with the coolest color renderings of what we were going to get. The prices were really fair. It was a lot less than the home center and the quality of the presentation was light years better. I've had other work done in my home. I understand having your life disrupted within the walls of your place is an emotionally nerveracking experience. The two Donatucci brothers made sure that their installers were respectful, professional and that the job was done right. They were all nice guys. I wanted to write this and get the word out for this 'team'. I delt it was a little, but great way to repay them for being reliable in a field that sometimes isn't so much. Pros: Selection, Reliability, Service after the sale. Cons: Remodeling is a tough road

We purchased a brand new kitchen stove from them. First of all, delivery was late by a whole day. Then all of the burners on the stove did not operate properly. Their fix was for me to call the manufacturer to have my brand new stove serviced. And to top it off they are so arrogant and rude. I was told to put myself in their position. I had to schedule more time off from work to fix their issue. As the previous reviewer says STAY AWAY. Pros: None Cons: Only accept cash so you have no recourse. Unprofessional & rude.

If I could use neg numbers I would. They are a nightmare. I spent a ton of money with them. They curse and scream at their customers. They hang up the phone. This experience has happened to at least 3 peopke I know. I don't know how they stay in business but PLEASE, for your own sanity, stay far away. You will thank me.
