Since a child, I've visited Sipos Bakery in Perth Amboy every Sunday morning. Just walking into the bakery and smelling the aromas of fresh-baked breads, pastries, donuts, cookies - oh my! Well it's like being in a dream. Their rye bread is so delicious and tasty. It's not bland and flaky. Their donuts are always moist and filled with so much flavor - even a "plain" donut is worth trying. All of the pastries are made with lots of TLC - their size does not compare to what other local bakeries offer (much bigger for the same price). Prices are reasonable - you pay for what you get. A large loaf of rye bread is $2.60 - but it's a LARGE loaf. The employees are super friendly and the service they provide is great!
