Since a child, I've visited Sipos Bakery in Perth Amboy every Sunday morning. Just walking into the bakery and smelling the aromas of fresh-baked breads, pastries, donuts, cookies - oh my! Well it's like being in a dream.
Their rye bread is so delicious and tasty. It's not bland and flaky. Their donuts are always moist and filled with so much flavor - even a "plain" donut is worth trying.
All of the pastries are made with lots of TLC - their size does not compare to what other local bakeries offer (much bigger for the same price).
Prices are reasonable - you pay for what you get. A large loaf of rye bread is $2.60 - but it's a LARGE loaf.
The employees are super friendly and the service they provide is great!

Wonderful Portuguese food. The paella is the best I've ever had. Lots of seafood in it. I have also had several chicken entrées that were full of flavor. And the sangria is dangerously delicious. The service is wonderful. You can also have parties here. The upstairs room is a nice size for a shower or small wedding.

THIS PLACE IS ONE PLACE THAT I WOULD CONSIDER TO BE THE RIGHT PRICE FOR THE FOOD AND FACILITIES. IT OUT BY THE WATER AND HAS A GREAT SETTING FOR PARTIES,BUSINESS LUNCHES OR DINNERS, AND ALSO THEIR STAFF IS WONDERFUL. THEIR FOOD IS EXQUISIT. I'VE WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE WITHOUT A SECOND GUESS.

this place is nice for something local. every once in a while i go here to get my haircut when im at this side of town. it is a nice little salon with many wonderful babers that are highly qualified and do a very good job with giving me what i need. i was satisfied walking out of there. im thinking of visiting again soon.

I had my wedding reception at the Portuguese manor in 1997. It was great, the food was delicious and reception hall was beautiful. They also have a dining area, where they serve the best paella or you can just sit at the bar and have some drinks.

We had our wedding at Seabra's Armory in October of 2008. EVERYTHING was perfect!! From the cocktail hour to dinner the food was outstanding and the cake SOOOO YUMMY!! The staff was beyond friendly and so easy to work with (thank you thank you thank you Frank!... you made planning our wedding reception stress-free!). On top of all this the location could not have been more beautiful. Looking out at the water and the boats as the sun set was magical. Our guests are raving about it to this day-- especially the endless pitches of AMAZING Sangria!! Highly recommend this space for events!!

I was sent a defective counter top. The Company they use Marvic Counter Tops in Union did not stand behind their product. And Wholesale Kitchen did not stand behind it either. Very upsetting, No compromise, nothing. It was like, it's our word against yours. No customer service what so ever!!
