My son has a problem with his left eye for which he takes medication and unfortunately, we somehow forgot to refill his prescription before going out of town. Prescriptionless, our doctor called Dr. Welter and presto, we had an appointment and a new prescription. Problem solved. Again, if a visiting traveler gets such help, how much more so a local patient.

We found out that my 2 year-old son had a vision problem when he was one. Unable to verbalize we didn't know the extent until recently. Our previous pediatric optometrist had no bedside manner. We found Dr. Welter at the Children's Eye Care Center and were pleasantly surprised at the warmth. Even though the news we learned was not good, it made a difference to hear it in this way. And that's the sign of a good doctor.
