Christy was rude off the bat. When I checked in, I didn't realize she was the one standing behind the counter, so I waited for someone to get her. Instead of introducing herself, she stared at me for 10 seconds and said "sit down! I'll be there in a few." I apologized for not realizing it was her. During the haircut she told me my eyebrows were "a mess," and asked if she could "show me something." I obliged and she proceeded to wax my eyebrows. Now, I'm not saying I didn't need it, but if she'd have asked I'd have been happy to pay for them. Instead, she shooed me out as another customer came in the door and yelled to the cashier - "she had a brow wax. Charge her for that too!" Then she turned around one last time and told me to "book my next appointment now because I fill up quick." False. I booked this particular haircut the day before and had my pick of times - now I know why. The haircut is decent, but the experience is enough to ensure I never return to the Village Salon. Other people have had good experiences at this Salon but I would steer clear of Christy! Pros: DECENT haircut Cons: Pushy, Rude, Doesn't listen to what you want

I want to let everyone out there to know that if they ever pass by the Village salon, keep driving. Never go there. The people there are rude, not to mention I think they learned how to do haircuts on small barbie dolls. If you are planning on going to a halloween party, feel free to get a do from there... but for now... I would highly suggest you go elsewhere. I don't know where yet.... but I will get back to you.. as soon as my hair grows back out!!!! By the way, I HAD to give it at least one star.... just because the website won't let me give it none!!!

Absolutely the worst customer service!! I called more than 5 times about a straightening not working. I spent more than $175 on the hair cut and straightening. Within 2 weeks from getting the straightening my hair was as curly as before I got the straightening so I called to explain the situation. I called 3x before I got a call back. I came in, the owner David took pics, and claimed he would send the pictures to the hairstylist who left. I didn't hear back. I called 2 more times. The 5th time I called on a Saturday, leaving a message saying that I haven't got a call back and it's been more than two weeks, and that is not good customer service. The following week I get a call by the owner David that he has someone who can straighten my hair that very day. I work full-time and simply can't leave work with no advance notice to my supervisor. Therefore, I call the salon immediately back saying I can be at the salon after work that day (5:30pm). I ask for them to call me back to let me know if that would be ok. ONCE AGAIN, I RECEIVE NO CALL BACK. Which leaves me to my experience with the owner today. It is over 3 months since my straightening and my numeorous attempts to get the situation resolved. Please understand, I never raised my voice throughout the process. Each time I spoke to a live person I was courteous - actually apologetic. Today when I spoke with the receptionist I said to her, I just want this to be resolved, either reimburse me some part of the straightening or please do it over. The owner calls back and starts talking to me in a hostile manner saying, I have done a lot to resolve this. I've tried to find someone to get it done for you. I interrupted and said, What have you done? You never conveyed any of your attempts to me. He tells me he's attempted to find someone just for me to get the straightening done. Expensive, yes. For this area and the quality, they can get what they want. I haven't had this quality since I left SoCal and the haircuts were $45 ten years ago. Anne is my colorist. She has a professional, competent, enjoyable way about her. I enjoyed my first visit and look forward to years of excellent care. From the top of my head to the foot massage machine, I walked out a more relaxed and handsome woman. I saw all ages, men and women, and they too were willing to pay the price. Absolutely recommend!
