I have never had my nails done professionally because I just never had the urge because I have always been a nail biter. My daughter wanted to get her nails done for the prom this year. My friend paid for her to get her nails done at Princess Nails. Well....It was such a good experience that my daughter and I are both going to get manicures and pedicures next week (again)
The service is super good, the work is quality, the people are very friendly, the place is clean and tidy.
I will continue to frequent and recommend Princess nails in Pelham.
Many of my friends asked my daughter where she got her nails done for the prom and they have since converted to Princess Nails..

My husband, myself and our daughter have been eating at Cozumel Grill at least once every 2 weeks since they opened.
In my opinion they are the best Mexican restaurant in the Birmingham area.

I have recently moved to the area and in the process of searching for a new church home. My family has visited this church several times over the past couple months and feel very welcome, do not feel overwhelmed with information. When you enter the church for a sermon, you are welcomed and told what to expect and introduced to a few people so that you don't feel like a "new person".
We are most likely going to become members at this location in the near future.
The service is casual (come dressed casually), the topic is in everyday language, sermons and music relate to every day living in 2007.

There is a fairly new chicken place in town called Zaxby's chicken. This restaurant only sells chicken fingers, weather it is on a sandwich, plate, box, honey mustard, bbq or other flavor but all they sell is chicken fingers and fries. The texas toast is always awesome and the slaw is great too. If you like a change, dip your fries in the "special sauce" called "zak's sauce"
It is different than using the plain ole boring ketchup.
Zaxby's is here to stay !!

I have had my kids to Pump It Up for many birthday parties for their friends. The place is full of inflatable things for the kids to jump on and play on (even the grown-ups can play and have fun). P.I.U. is fun and different from most party places for kids. There is lots of time spent in the play room before going on to the party room.
I love the idea of Pump it Up and love that the parents can also jump and play with the kids.
Definitely recommended.
Birmingham needs more places like this that kids can go to be kids.

I recently made my first visit to Old Time Pottery. WOW, what a cool store. I found so much variety at this store. OTP sells dishes, glasses, kitchen needs, rugs, decorations for the house, outside furniture, bedding, candles and sooooo much more.
I was very impressed with the super low prices at OTP. You can buy a set of kitchen drinking glasses either buy the piece or buy the set. Individually, the glasses are like 20 cents or around there each !!
Most of their prices are WAY lower than Walmart for the same stuff. I saw a gallon size pitcher with 4 cups at Walmart for $1.00 but at OTP, the same pitcher was only .75 !!

I have been to HH's several times to get suppliments for my son who plays football. This place will just plain make you feel good when you leave. You can get suppliments for any ailment, any condition ....anything you need.
I usually end up getting stuff that I didn't even go there for.
Gotta just go visit Healthy Harveys...you might be surprised on the things that they carry that you would not even believe.
Hair products, healthy snacks, diet food and suppliments......

I had heard of Sarah's Flowers in Pelham but have never had the chance to use them for anything. My neighbor had to buy some flowers to surprise her daughter on her birthday so I accompanied my friend to the flower store. I was pleased with the store and the salespeople were friendly and very nice. The selection was nice and prices reasonable.
The arrangement was delivered the next morning to my friends daughter and she liked what she received.
I will use and recommend Sarah's Flowers in Pelham in the future.

i love tattoo jungle. There are so many different locations that have opened up over the past few years-this location was the first--that you don't have to drive too far to get a quality tattoo. The owners name is Jeff, he's the top dog, & he's a really great guy. Many years ago when i got my first tattoo, this guy named Frog was there. He messed my tattoo up by a careless mistake(didn't put print on correctly) Needless to say he got fired shortly after & opened his own business in moody. Anyway Jeff Fixed it for me-free of charge--duh!! & he's always been really great at makin suggestions & givin me lots of options! He also pierced my tongue & I didn't feel a thing! so if you're thinking of having a tattoo--just go see Jeff. He's at this store mainly but he travels to all!

This is a nice little shoe store at the corner of Hwy 52 and Pelham Parkway across from Susan Schein. This little store has a nice selection of shoes and boots (a bit overpriced for my wallet) but nice shoes. There is also a shoe repair at this store. If you have those good expensive shoes that need a repair...take them here.
Very nice people that run the place. I do like coming here but most of the time, cannot afford that much for shoes.
