O.K. so I attempted to be thrifty and went to one of those cheep salons for my color, What a mess! I was just trying to tighten up the purse strings because of the economy...... I was desperate to return to my beautiful shinny blonde highlights, that used to look natural! A friend slipped me Elizabeth's card, and said,"she is worth it, you will be very pleased, she has been coloring my hair for years." I had no idah, my friends hair looks like mine used to , beautiful and real, not fake! What did I have to loose? What a great experence, Elizabeth took her time, and colored and cut my hair with precise care. She is an experenced stylist,has taken class's from some of the best stylist all over the world. She is confident in her ability to make your hair beautiful too.

Cesare...where to begin? You know when you get the name of someone or somewhere and you always try to remember when you need it but can't find the card? I had a business card of his from a girlfriend's wedding (her updo was AMAZING, btw) and I'd met him a few times when I was out and about with her. I always said I would make an appt and I don't know why I never did! It took me 8 years to get to Cesare and like all things you tend to put off, I asked myself "why didn't I do it sooner"? It's really amazing how used to crappy hairdressers you get which makes finding Cesare such a welcome gift! I have long, strong, thick hair which is very straight. It had actually gotten quite damaged from going back & forth to light and dark. I didn't quite realize how damaged until I agreed to try the Brazilian Blowout. Amazing! My hair was as if it was virgin hair which had never been touched. I am thoroughly happy and have found my hairdresser for life. Sometimes, the best things do come to those who wait.....but I still ask myself in the mirror....why didn't I do this sooner?! :-)
Pros: Fabulous Cut, Color & Experience
Cons: I Can't Go Everyday So He Can Do My Hair

I LOVE this place. We have been for brunch, lunch, and dinner. The food is very fresh and well thought out. The flatbread pizzas are amazing. I especially like the artichoke asparagus one. They have a wide variety of wines that are delicious. If you are not into wine, don't let this pass you by because you see the "wine bar" part of it. The food is SO good. I just really love places that have fresh ingredients and this place always seems to have that. I feel like you get great quality food for a very reasonable price. And the owners and staff are always very warm and welcoming. They have periodic live entertainment off to a corner in the form of guitar, singing, etc. that is very enjoyable and not intruding as some live music dining can be. It adds a nice backdrop to the meal. The location is also perfect because it is very convenient if you are out on Colorado Blvd. because it is just off of it in a little alley without all the hustle and craziness. It is more relaxing and intimate there than anywhere you would find out on Colorado. I am so glad we stumbled across this place when we did and I have always been just as satisfied after every return visit.
Pros: Great food, great wine, great service, great value
Cons: that it isn't right around the street from my house so I can't go there every day :)

I love the fact that he is a he. It's so good for my son to hear stories read by
a man.... And done so with great expression and wit!!!!
You won't be disappointed if you take your kids to hear him read. YOU will enjoy him, too. I hope Vroman's keeps him there FOREVER!

My boyfriend and I go to Mi Piace all the time. Sometimes we forget to make reservations and we'll wait a bit, but definitely worth it. Friendly workers, fantastic food and what a great ambiance. We're there every other Monday since they have the all day Happy Hour! prices are great and portions are just right! Absolutely recommend Mi Piace to everyone and will keep going there myself.
