Zinke's has everything you would want in shoe repair. They will shine your shoes while you wait or you can leave them and pick up later. They fix up handbags and gladrags, you can even bring in your belt and have them put extra notches on it for little to no charge! Zinke's is busy but they have a lot of efficient workers who are always willing to help you out! Go there the next time you need your shoes polished or groomed!

XI carries a variety of styles from trendy to business attire at reasonable prices and several sizes are usually available. They also carry accessories and footwear. However, the quality isn't always top notch. Great place to pick up some summer tanks and cute, yet affordable tops for your night out on the town. Plenty of parking since its part of a large plaza, however it does get quite busy on the weekends.

Very good selection and some of the worst service I have ever experienced. Much of it may be explained away as an ESL issue. I believe the owners are Korean and don't speak English very well, still the attitude that pervades seems to be one of ambivalence. The customer feels like they are intruding and are a bother. It's really too bad, as I recommend the place a lot albeit with the caveat, Go here for a good selection, but if you want service and a great fedora, go to Hollywood Hatters on Melrose where Sal, will help you find the perfect hat.

I ordered a number of plaques from their store -- all very good quality. They will customize your order (including logos and such). Also does not charge for the full amount until you receive the final product. It took them just a couple of days to have my order ready (I believe this is due to the fact that they make their own things or at least engraves themselves).
The prices are very competitive with respect to other similar stores offering the same service.
The lady I dealt with was also very helpful and friendly. They will also keep your template on file for future use.

If you're ever in Pasadena and looking for some books to read, I would recommend going here over any of the chain bookstores in the area. They have a wide variety of books, and will have staff recommendations throughout the store. I have spent hours there going through all the different rows, and spent hundreds of dollars on books I'm still trying to get around to reading. I would always browse their stationary sections as well.

The last of the GREAT story time readers is here in Pasadena at Vroman's Book Store. He is only at the Colorado Blvd. location on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
I love the fact that he is a he. It's so good for my son to hear stories read by
a man.... And done so with great expression and wit!!!!
You won't be disappointed if you take your kids to hear him read. YOU will enjoy him, too. I hope Vroman's keeps him there FOREVER!
