I really enjoyed going here. They have all kind of equipment for sports. I thought the place was kind of small and it had a lot to offer though. Prices are cool and reasonable. The location is good because people can easily see their shop. The building looks pretty nice.

More
This facility offers two regulation eighteen hole courses. The Number One Course has large greens that are elevated and well bunkered. The rough bordering the fairways is thick and heavy. Furthermore, four ponds or a barranca come into play on ten holes. The Number Two Course is shorter, more well bunkered and tighter than the Number One Course. The terrain is flat, but the greens and tee boxes are slightly elevated. Numerous sand bunkers have been well positioned around the greens and fairways. There is a cement ditch or a lake coming into play on nine holes. Desmond Muirhead redesigned the Number Two Course in 1966. The facility hosted the 1969 LA Open. This course is adjacent to the Rose Bowl.

No, this is not a formal "museum," but it is an impressive collection of faux fur bunny rabbits nonetheless. You have to appreciate the obsessiveness of this rabbit-loving couple. In only ten years they've amassed a thorough collection. $1 or $2 is pocket change.
Pros: bunnys galore
Cons: by appointment only

In addition to a wide selection of bathing suits - both one and two piece, Canyon Beachwear also carries cover-ups (sun dresses, wraps). The staff is very nice and helpful in finding the perfect suit. They help make the tramatic experience of shopping for a bathing suit less painful. They carry popular brands such as Calvin Klein, DKNY, Juicy Couture, and Hydra.

This store might have merged with the Quicksilver store next door but basically it's your typically surfing store. It doesn't sell surf boards or anything like that but you will find bikinis and other sports wear including things for snowboarding etc. their women's selection is pretty big but the prices at other competitors like pacsun are better than the prices that you will find here.

The Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens are simply beautiful. The library hosts many important artifacts from history. Included is an original Guttenburg bible. But above all, the Huntington Library offers an incredible Botanical Gardens. Gardens and vegetation from around the world cover the large area. An Austrailian section details the dry desert gardens. The Japanese Garden is simply unbelievable. A peaceful pebble garden rests next to a wonderful collection of bonsai trees. The Huntington Library is a great day trip for a wonderful walk.

i was on my way to golfsmith to buy a putter with my 15% new membership coupon when i decided to stop by IDG. that was the best thing i ever did. i checked out their putters and Jim was very informative about all of the putters there. i spent about an hour checking out different putters and finally decided on the taylor made itsy bitsy spider. golfsmith was selling it for $200 but i was going to use the 15% off coupon there so that it would be $170. IDG was selling theirs for $179 but Jim and Dale were up front and told me that the coupon exluded all major brands including taylor made. i checked the fine print and they were right! Jim also took the time to show my girlfriend some womens clubs and gave her some tips at the driving net that they had. i even got to demo a driver from them! you can't beat the customer service anywhere. i'll be getting all my golf toys from there.
Pros: customer service, excellent selection, they have just about everything, service!!!
Cons: none at all
