I am a loyal customer at Shiatsu of California. Entire tone of spa is peaceful, artistic and professional. The most fascinating is the skill of massage therapists. Comparing to other high-end spas with luxuary facilities, Shiatsu has the best therapist I have experienced so far. If you would like to experience the real and GOOD Shiatsu, I highly recommend this place. I get a free massage every ten visits. And the price is very reasonable. I get 60 minutes Shiatsu for $75. It's pretty good considering the quality of massage. Make sure to book your appointment early, especially on weekend. It's best to visit during Tue to Thur as they are not really busy.
Pros: Original excellent Shiatsu massage
Cons: May not get a private room and appointment sometime begins 5-10 minutes late

All new, clean and great price- the staff is friendly and they help you get the color you want. The place is marble and they've got a brand new sound system in there to keep things moving. I have been going to this barber shop for years...this is a very family orientated business...they have many barbers so you dont feel like your going to be there all day...they treat you with the utmost respect...the cost is resonable...for men as well as the women. They have beauticians that braid as well as do perms and other hairstyles...so i would definitely recommend Just in Time to anyone in the Pasadena area looking for a good barber/beautician.

When my friends and I walked into Mimio, we thought we had literally died and gone to heaven. (We are all design geeks.) This place is a perfect resource for anyone who is into design or who just likes stationary. I personally love sending mail to friends and family and especially love things that are whimsical. I also like to make my own cards. Therefore, my favorite part of the store was the back wall, which is covered with racks of handmade paper. They are a little pricey but are absolutely beautiful.

I love to go to linden's because I see the world's greatest optician there -- a petite gal named Fay. She can take one look at me and find the perfect eyeglass frame (out of about 10,000 they have in stock.) She has an incredible eye. I've been to plenty of other places where they might have technicians on their staff, but this gal is a true stylist -- and a very talented one at that. Thanks Fay, and thanks linden's.

Chuck E. ROCKS! Since they've redone the place, the kids have more games to play and it's not as noisy. There is still a high noise level and Chuck E does scare most little one, but hey, it's a kid friendly place. The pizza is ok, there's salad and good birthday cake.

This is the fanciest brunch I have ever been to. Not your typical brunch with vats of scrambled eggs and bacon. Carved roast beef and lamb. Duck. Veal. Giant shrimp. Raw oysters. Crab claws. Crepe chef. Pasta with white truffles. Cheeses from around the world. Incredible desserts. Chocolate fountain. Unlimited champagne.
Everything was delicious, except the bill, which was something like $80 per person. Only valet parking, which I hate.
Certainly a great special occasion brunch, not your everyday restaurant unless you can really pack away the food or just happen to be ultra rich, which many of the people there seem to have been.
Pros: Amazing variety of upscale food
Cons: High price. Only valet parking.
