The Pacific Asia Museum is located inside a replica of an imperial Chinese palace with a green tiled roof. It is a fitting building for all the beautiful collections of asian artifacts they have housed within. Even the courtyard ouside is beautifully landscaped with meticulously manicured bonsai and serene ponds. The museum also has a small store selling some asian themed merchandise and books.

The Pacific Asia Museum is dedicated to the promotion of Asian art and culture. They achieve their objective with a good variety of exhibits highlighting many different Asian cultures. The public is also invited to take advantage of the many classes and lectures they offer throughout the year. Members can also receive exclusive invites to some very special travel opportunities. The museum is close to the Pasadena Mall, great place to go while you go to the old town. The first time when I go there, I am surprised that they have so many stuff on display. It is a very small building actually, but a lot of rooms inside, and you can enjoy it very much. Especially those items on display are pretty pricious. Some of them are rare even in Asia. Compreed with the price, it is really a great place for the kids. And also sometimes they have some outdoor actiivies which teach you how to knit etc, my kids like it very much. The parking is free if you go to the museum. Or you can park in the mall to get three hours free parking.
