This place is great. The price to get in is cheap and my son had a blast. Parking is free too. Do bring extra clothes for your little one because there is a water play area that is a favorite of my son. This museum is indoors and out. My son likes the dinosaur dig area. They also have an insect/bugs kitchen where your kid is the chief. Get to grub on some creepy crawlers which make the kids laugh. Outside is nice. They can ride trycles or do arts and crafts. Just a little fyi...no strollers inside.

We've been members of the new museum since they opened in December and my son has a blast there. He loves the outdoor area in the back with trike paths and lots of water (bring a change of clothes). They also have cool crafts and programs where they feature bugs and reptiles. There are two 40 ft climbing towers and a whole bug-themed section with a bug diner and an ant hill to crawl through. It's a tight squeeze for an adult. Last spring they did a butterfly release where the kids raised the butterflies from caterpillars. They also do kid parties but I think they are overly expensive. The membership start at $100 and we've definitely gotten our money's worth. I think that kids over 8 might get bored, but they're putting in another building with stuff for older kids.

The Kidspace Childrens Museum is such a fun place for kids. It has lots of different things to do, and lots of room to run. Every room has a different thing to explore or play with. This museum is completely hands on. The painting wall is a favorite for my kids. It's a little out of the way, but not too bad. Kidspace can get pricey but if you have a day to spend, it's well worth it.
