Dr. Friedman explained the work I needed very clearly. The front desk always calls to remind me about my next appointment. Bobby the surgery assistant makes one feel that all is going well. Dr. Letrong (what a professional) gentle with shots and cares about how his patients look. He is very fond of his work.

I recently moved to Pasadena and have taken both my cat and my dog to Foothill Veterinary Hospital. I have not had to wait more than 15 minutes even though they do not have appointments. The hospital and exam rooms are very clean. On both occasions, I saw Dr. O'Dwyer and I believe that she gave my pets the best of care. She was courteous, thorough, answered all of my questions, and was very compassionate. My cat is usually very nervous and aggressive during his veterinary visit and she was able to calm him down enough to do a physical exam. Dr. O'Dwyer took the time to explain all of my options and I was satisfied with the overall experience. Foothill's prices are reasonable compared to other veterinary hospitals in the area. I will continue to take my animals to Foothill and would recommend my friends and family to go there as well.

I didn't want a day to pass before writing this review. I have to say that Dr. Van Woerkom and the staff at Pasadena Optometry Center were/are terrific. Dr. Van Woerkom did a through examination of my eyes, which gave me the assurance that my eyes were healthy. He also presented me with several alternatives in addressing my specific vision problems. What a relieve, since the previous optometrist pretty much gave me only one solution. Needless to say, after meeting with Dr. Van Woerkom, I was very greatful. Finally a great doctor!
I would recommend Pasadena Optomerty Center and Dr. Van Woerkom without hesitation.

I have always had problems with my teeth- no average dentist will do. I was referred to Robbin by my children's dentist, who I highly respect.
This office is no different. Everyone greets me by name, I never wait long, and Dr. Robbin is always positive and explains everything before we do work. I had a really difficult time getting a crown to fit, we worked on it for 2 months and he didn't charge for extra visits.
I always get multiple phone calls letting me know of last minute cancellations. He has the highest ratings from my implant specialist.
There is free parking around the corner on Fair Oaks.

I've been going here for the past nine years. She is one of the nicest dermotologist. She's allowed to test a variety of medicine to reduce my acne. After trying almost all of them, Accutane works the best.

As I was waiting in line, humming "Brian Boru's March" and waiting for my "Ordinario" sandwich (roast turkey, lettuce, tomato, cucumber (no cheese) on marble rye) the other day, I thought, "Why not review Whole Foods Market? I'm here almost every day." And so . . .
Whole Foods IS a pleasant and very convenient shopping experience - although more expensive than your average market. It is an organic/natural foods/gourmet market which meets almost every shopping need. The take-out service is pretty fast - but better yet - the self service check-out lines are the best I have encountered at any shopping facility, almost never break down (as long as I am using a debt card) & I am in and out very quickly. I trust the food I buy here & I feel I can safely eat here without getting sick. I frequent the fresh fruits & vegetables and salad and soup {Mediterranean Chicken is my favorite) bars.
My weekly need for fresh cut flowers is met here as well as my desire to look at Earth Shoes (they sell the new Earth Shoe), buy ear plugs, purchase vitamins, minerals and supplements, Bach flower remedies, Republic of Tea teas + freshly delivered (if not baked) Irish Soda bread. And, it is all within walking distance from my house or a short driving distance from my work.
I am very spoiled, very rarely shop at other markets for edible products (except Trader Joe's) since discovering Whole Foods and when I am on vacation or away from home, I find myself trying to locate the nearest Whole Foods Market to me. For, what is life without whole food?

I love to go to linden's because I see the world's greatest optician there -- a petite gal named Fay. She can take one look at me and find the perfect eyeglass frame (out of about 10,000 they have in stock.) She has an incredible eye. I've been to plenty of other places where they might have technicians on their staff, but this gal is a true stylist -- and a very talented one at that. Thanks Fay, and thanks linden's.

i transferred from wyndham-smith dentist office, and i couldn't be more pleased. the staff is friendly and helpful, and the dentist was very nice indeed. they were quick and efficient, and they were able to see me within 3 days for a cleaning and an exam, where wyndham-smith would not be able to see me for 2 months - for just a cleaning, the exam would have to be on a different day! i would highly recommend this dentist.

Dr. Bowns is completely fantastic. My family has been going to see him for over twenty years. He is extremely gentle and kind with children (his specialty is pediatrics) as well as an extremely intelligent and observant doctor. I cannot recommend him highly enough -- this is a quality physician. The real thing!

My mother spent 2 weeks in this hospital until she died. There was one slight glitch that had nothing to do with the hospital, but with the doctor's paging service, and other than some of the food issues, we could not have been more impressed with all the professionals who dealt with her. We were afforded the ability to stay with her 24/7 and they have comfortable sleeping areas to do that. The care staff, nurses and nursing assistants could not have been better. We were kept informed by the nurses and the doctors about her medical issues and they helped make her completely comfortable until she died. This has to be a world class care center. Their care and compassion helped us to be able to handle this. She had her needs met as she wanted them to be met.
Pros: Compassionate Professional Staff
Cons: Some slight glitches
