I remembered your store from over 15 years ago. What stood out in my mind was your high standard of quality in food and service. My favorite food in all the world is Concord Grapes. This is the first year that I can remember, not being able to find them. I was driving down Huntington and something said, go into Hows... and there they were! I could not believe my eyes. I said yes! Hows came through. Yea!!! Something must have happen to the crops this year, NO ONE had them and believe me I searched and bugged the stores high and low asking ar they in yet. They all agreed that something had happen this year. Anyway thank you for having my favorite food that I wait all year long for. Please don't change. I love this store!

I know that the "H" in HOWS comes from Hughes, now merged with Ralphs supermarkets, so it's not wonder that HOWS markets offers top-quality foods and services. The one on Huntington Drive is extremely clean and well-lit, and just an all-in-all great place to do grocery shopping. Though not a huge chain, prices run just about the same as Ralph, Vons, and Pavilions, but without the necessary club memberships. Service is also just as good, and the quality of the products (meats, produce, etc.) is excellent.

Besides selling the typical supermarket groceries, the best thing about Hows Market is that its open 24 Hours! Its very convenient if you run out of stuff at odd hours of the day or want a late midnight snack. I like to order sandwiches at night or early in the morning so I can have a great lunch later. Plus, they do home deliveries…if you’re lazy..just joking.
