i transferred from wyndham-smith dentist office, and i couldn't be more pleased. the staff is friendly and helpful, and the dentist was very nice indeed. they were quick and efficient, and they were able to see me within 3 days for a cleaning and an exam, where wyndham-smith would not be able to see me for 2 months - for just a cleaning, the exam would have to be on a different day! i would highly recommend this dentist.

I was referred to Dr. Kates by a friend. We all had initially signed up for the larger fancy across the street (under tower records) when our work dental insurance started. After 4 of my co-workers returned saying "I'll never go back" I switched to Dr. Kates immediately. The office was pretty basic, although they were under re-construction when I went. My first visit for a cleaning went well, I did need a number of procedures done...but I was expecting that because it had been a number of years and I have poor teeth. The first dentist was a little pushy, I forget his name, but it was his last day when I visited. I was given Dr. Allan Paul for my procedures. He was very nice and friendly when I was a bit nervous about shots. Very good chair-side behavior :) Clean, cost effective, and to the point...I'll definitely return.

The office is clean and efficient. Luckily, I have not had any major dental problems, so most of my experience has been with the hygienists. They are competent and friendly. My teeth feel clean when I leave and they don't casue too much pain. Allan Paul, DDS also works at this office and my experience with him has been very good.
