I've been going to PCC ever since I was a high school student (FYI...high school students don't have to pay for units!). There's a good variety of classes for the person heading toward a 4-yr college to a busy mom who wants to take a photography class at night. The instructors there are top-rate. It's located in a nice neighborhood. And parking which used to be a serious issue in the past is plentiful and costs only $1 a day!

Pasadena City College is the ideal community college. It offers a wide variety of classes, has a diverse population, and is quite reputable among other schools of the same caliber. The campus is quite beautiful too. Of course, being in Pasadena means that student life is not dull since there is so much to do and see here.

Pasadena City College looks like a nice junior college. However, because of the over crowded students coming from the surrounding areas, many selective classes are pretty hard to get in. The counselor office always full a lot of people before the classes start. One thing about this school is that they offer many art classes. If you are not majoring in art or live further from PCC, I don’t recommend people to go there.

I took some classes here and it's actually really nice. I highly recommend this place for students to take classes. I took an english as a second language class and it was really nice and the instructors were really nice too. I couldn't believe how much I learned at Pasadena City College after going there for a couple of months.
There is lots of free parking on the campus and they have lots of night classes so you can go here after work. I like the instructions as they really know a lot and are helpful when you have many questions about the things you are studying.

I have registered for several college before, but I fell PCC is the best around LA area. In LA they have a lot of city college, but their quality is not very good. In PCC they have better teacher, I feel. And also the critiria here are more strict and students are studying very hard. The class that they are open are pretty good usually quite close to what are avaiable in university. I definately recommend to go PCC first before you go to the state university. Save money a lot with the same quality. The only problem is the parking, sometimes it is really hard to find the parking in the afternoon. I have to pay for the parking for each semester and soemtimes you can't find it even if you have the permit to park.
