Christy has it ALL! Plus her hair wash/massage is awesome!!! I will definitely be returning. Pros: Wonderful personality, great cut, no wait Cons: Parking

I was under the impression that to have your hair done right you have to drive to the west side and pay a weeks salary, boy was I wrong. Because of our "economic situation" my husband made me reevaluate my "Splurges" as he called them, but we all know hair is a necessity. I wasn't looking for a big change, just someone closer and less expensive to keep my grey at bay. Christy was a perfect fit. She matched my color perfectly and even taught me a couple new ways to style my hair. I was so pleased as I bounced out of the salon, I had saved about a hundred bucks so I took myself to lunch. I only wish had found her sooner.

I found Christy online.... reading reviews just as you are doing now...... something about Christy's reviews struck me, she sounded not only like a good stylist but a cool person too. Nevertheless I channeled every hair nightmare I had ever experienced and decided to test the water before I jumped in. I booked just a cut to start even though I desperately needed color as well. She won me over right away. A beautiful salon that feels comfortable, it's cool but not stuffy. Christy was pleasant, knowledgeable and very professional. I not only booked my color appointment for the following week but found myself wanting to invite her to a bar b que my boyfriend and I were having that weekend ( I restrained, we did just meet .....kidding) I guess what I am trying to say is not only do I have a great new stylist but I had a real nice experience all the way around. I highly recommend her! Pros: affordable, ambience, great hair Cons: ummmm, can't think of one

When I was out and about one day, I saw this girl with a hair cut and color sassy enough to make me ask who done it. She told me, with a big smile, "this really sweet and cool chick, Christy..." I wrote down her name and the name of the salon and called the next day to make an appointment. I came in with one, rigid idea---keep it long! But Christy kindly pointed out the benefits of getting rid of the dry, splitting, beat-up looking ends. And I'm so glad she did! She worked with the natural wave in my hair to give me a cut that was not only the kind of sassy I wanted, was easy to manage, and still looked "long," but a cut that didn't cost me an arm and a leg to get! She is smart, funny, and is eager to work with her client to achieve his/her complete satisfaction. All this in a salon that is airy, elegant, and full of really cool art! Pros: Christy! Cons: I live on the westside!

I just moved to LA, and wasn't sure where to go. I got desperate and asked a woman who's hair I admired out at dinner. She handed me Christy's card. I'm so thankful! It's very hard to find someone who actually listens to what you want. Christy gave me exactly what I asked for. She even taught me how to easily blowdry my hair, turns out I've been doing it the hard way all these years. I can't wait to send my husband to her!

Christy is the most talented stylist I have ever encountered! I am someone who asks a million questions, and Christy actually had answers for me. She obviously very good at what she does and I felt that she really enjoys her work as well. She had great ideas and when we were done my hair looked like the picture we agreed on- that's never happened to me before. She is very sweet and you can tell she is just a genuinely nice person. Ask for her she's great.

I can not express how happy I am to have found Christy at Ellouise Salon! I just got my haircut this weekend, and I now have beautiful soft layers and a side-part that I used to dream of having! First of all, Christy fit me into her busy Saturday schedule, and she made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. She attentively listened to exactly what I wanted, while also offering excellent suggestions for my face shape, style, and low-maintenance lifestyle. I could tell that she knew exactly what she was talking about, so I felt extremely confident sitting in her chair! I had never let anyone blowdry my hair because I didn't trust anyone, but I let Christy style and blowdry my hair, and WOW. I love love love it and have received compliments already! My search for the perfect stylist is now over. I will always and only go to Christy, and I highly recommend her to anyone. As the previous reviews stated, you will leave Christy's chair feeling and looking GORGEOUS! Not only is she an amazing stylist, but she's also so kind and so sweet! Pros: Everything! Cons: Nothing!
