You won't go wrong going here for dinner. Great food and service. The Chicken Parmigana is great along with any of their pasta dishes. The atmosphere is casual and romantic at night. The service is very good. This is Pasadena favorite especially for business lunches or Saturday lunch with friends

I love Saladang because of its traditional ambience. The food is definitely good, and the prices affordable. I've been there a few times for the lunch specials, though any time is a good time for Thai soup, pad thai or pad seew pan fried noodles, thai iced tea, curry... basically everything here is good. Banquets or large parties also work well at Saladang. Service is fairly quick, and employees are very friendly.

A colleague and I were recently in Pasadena on business and needed a comfortable place to grab coffee and a snack. After walking a few blocks on Colorado, we chose Mi Piace, owing largely to its stylish interior and pleasant sidwalk cafe atmosphere.
Despite the late morning hour, the cafe was well-patronized with both leusirely coffee-sippers and a few late-morning couples at breakfast. At our request, we were seated in one of the comfortable booths along the wall, and were quickly drawn in by the appealing menu -- our "light snack" turned into hearty egg breakfasts without a second thought. The service was prompt, the coffee (as expected in an Italian cafe) was excellent, and the open, high-ceilinged space made for an unusually pleasant meeting room.
At $30 for breakfast, coffee and tip for two, Mi Piace is not an inexpensive choice, but the inviting setting and well-executed service make it a solid value if you're willing to pay a little extra for style and comfort.
(There's an equally-stylish tapas bar right across the street - next time we're in town we'll try that for comparison and let you know how it goes).

I thought this place was pretty good. I thought this place was nice and it was cozy inside. I had a cup of coffee there and it was so good. i loved everything about that place. I would definitely go here again if I had to. Actually I might go there next week. I love the place and the prices are good. Parking was good. Good good good.

corner bakery is one of the new trends in the bakery/healthy fast food sandwich and salad cafes popping up around LA. it's not fast food like mcdonalds, but it doesn't take as long as a restaurant. it's healthy and quick, perfect for a quick meal on your lunch break. this hybrid eatery has desserts, but its specialty is its warm panini sandwiches. the salads are ok too, but i've found better ones that cost about the same at CPK. the portions are really big though and they have options where you can do a half salad, half sandwich, or soup, etc. get there early on the weekends because there's always a line out the door.

Vroman's Bookstore has a very large collection of books. The staff there are very friendly and some of them know the communtiy very well. On the other hand, the pricing is slightly overpriced, if not average. Vromans doesnt have good deals very often, and cant compare to the pricing at borders or bigger stores.

I went here to have a prescripition filled last week. I was amazed how fast it took, only 15 minutes or so. I had no idea it would take so short of a time. The people who worked there were really nice and sweet. I see why they have been rated the best pharmacy. I would highly recomend Phoenix to everyone.

I will never, EVER go near Gabriel's again!! I do not trust them or their work. Besides disconnecting my smog pump (which is illegal in California), a week after I had some engine work done my vehicle was making a horrible noise and eventually stopped running. Learning my lesson, I had it towed to another garage where a red shop rag was found in the drop pan wrapped around the uptake!!! The engine was totaled as there was no oil pressure. There is no way I can prove that it was Gabriel's but they are the only garage I had taken it to in the past two years. For the sake of your car and your wallet, STAY AWAY FROM GABRIEL'S AUTOMOTIVE!!!!!
