Every once in a while, we like to treat ourselves to a "fancy" Italian meal. Usually, we prefer a more casual place, but when we want to dress up and eat in a classy room, Eccola is our local choice.
Located on Rt. 46 in a blue collar town (no offense), Eccola is a bright star. The food - selection, preparation, variety and quality - is first rate. The room is tasteful and has a New York City flair. Service can run from just fair to amazing. Case in point - I ordered fillet mignon rare. It arrived well done (nearly gray). Obviously, I had someone else's order. I could not get our young waitress' attention but a more "mature" waiter zeroed in to my plight and snatched it away and replaced it quickly. Very impressive and I made sure that I tipped him personally for the outstanding service.
This is a very nice restaurant and one of my NJ favorites. The prices are in line with the quality - and I am a cheap skate!
Get on your fancy duds, grab your date and head here for a wonderful dining experience.

I've been going to this restaurant with my family since it has opened and we've been regulars since! You can have a regular meal during the weekdays or enjoy dim sum during lunch on weekends. The food is delicious either way and reasonably priced. As for service, the food usually arrives quickly and the waiters and waitresses are usually bilingual.
The only downside is that since the restaurant is so popular, it may be noisy, especially during dim sum hours. But it is a small price to pay for great food!

We do Sunday breakfast every week and make the rounds of the local Morris County diners. While I love Alexis as my number 1, Empire has great French Toast that keeps bringing me back. It's made with challah bread and cooked perfectly. They use fake maple syrup (most diners do, alas) but the bread's so good, the syrup can't spoil it.
The booths are huge. The service is first rate. They have lots of parking (really important to me). They have fair prices - in line with diners everywhere.
Their French Toast will keep me coming back. You should try it.

I really enjoy sandwiches from the Great Wazu. The food is great, and fresh. I even love their website with funny comments, and printable coupons. My favorite is the roast beef sloppy joe. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back! Since they are in a parking lot with a lot of other stores, there is never a problem finding a parking spot, and since they are so quick, the line is never long.

They make the best hamburgers as far as I am concerned. This is a very attractive restaurant with huge parking facilities. It is always clean looking and smells fresh. The milk shakes are so good and tasty too. They are in the Entertainment Book too. There is a large place for children and balloons are given out. On a certain night of the week, children eat free with a paying adult.. I highly recommend Fuddruckers.

I eat all kinds of food but if you want some good vegetarian indian food, this is the place for you. This is not too far away from my place and I often go there. People in there treat you so good. They have the best idly in New Jersey. Do not forget to ask them about their dosa. You will love them.
