We use them for our fleet which means we have 7 cars which get heavily used in and out of their shop through the year. Good prices and good service. Once an a while they have to do a redo because a part is bad out of the box, but they will always make sure it is right. I have nothing but positive feedback to give on this shop. Also, we have never had our cars damaged there.

the staff and mechanics are friendly and they put on great special events.last year, they had a barbeque once a week during the tour de france and gave out some goodies.they have had a few mountain bike demos at mahlon dickerson park and a road bike demo.the mountain bike demos are wonderful, the mechanics would set up the shocks properly according to your weight, adjust the seat post, and even let you use your own clipless pedals, then hit the trail.great bike shop.i am sure you will be happy with a bicycle purchase there.

Last year's big storm made some real damage to my celica. All tires were shot and the splash reflector shield was messed up as well. They replaced all tires and shield within a few days and I have nothing to complain. Price was relatively cheap compared to what the major car shops were quoting my damages. I would definitely go back to this shop if my car needs more work in the future.

I have a Porsche, BMW and Toyota and all of them have had work done by Sound Waves. The staff is careful, honest and do really good work. Their prices are good too - a rare thing these days, good service and good prices.
I shop stores like this (instead of big box stores) because the staff members tend to be more experienced and they really worry about their reputation and your repeat business.
I have shopped here for several years through several cars and feel comfortable going back.
I can't say that about many others.

More
This Firestone Complete Care auto repair and tire shop has had difficulty satisfying problems that we've experienced with engine repairs such as water-pump and timing belts and even relatively simple things like brake service.
A water-pump repair and simultaneously "recommended" timing-belt repair has cause so much damage to my car's engine that I've run up thousands of dollars of cascading repairs as a result of their shoddy workmanship.
The timing-belt issue was perplexing and because I have since learned that the timing-belt was not properly set and that the "teeth were off" and it was the cause of a tremendous loss of power, fuel mixture/ oxygen problems, carbonized the spark-plugs, etc., but Firestone merely said it was transmission related and that it wasn't changing gears.
A competent repair shop corrected the timing-belt and the car runs great now, but Firestone is unresponsive to my claims.
Additionally, the water-pump was incorrectly installed and the shoddy workmanship caused it to malfunction and I had to have the entire cooling system replaced after the engine overheated plus new gaskets! A new electronic distributor assembly also was ruined by the overheated engine.
Firestone is unresponsive to this claim too.
Additionally, my wife's brakes were deliberately sabotaged by Firestone as discovered by the mechanics at other auto-repair-shops so that she would not hear the telltale sound of the poorly installed brake-shoes (some nodule was deliberately cut off). Fortunately, the other repair shop found this and replaced the brake-shoes and showed us on the replaced brakes where Firestone made the cuts (we have the brake shoes)
Firestone refused to address this issue and tried to take the evidence from us. We're considering what our next steps and options are.
Certainly, their customer satisfaction level is poor to say the least with me.
No thanks to Firestone, my car is now running better than ever thanks to the competent repairs (if not expensive) of the professionals at Dover Dodge/Chrysler [that's right . . I take my car all the way up there now rather than take a chance with repair shops around here for engine work].

They botched up my wife's brake jobThey performed sloppy work on my waterpump that lead to a cascade of overheating related issuesThey didn't realize that the timingbelt repair was improper that almost resulted in engine damage . . . And their headquarters claim department is a joke with only an answering machine and no one ever makes a decent attempt to address the shoddy workmanship! They have these unbelievably low oil change coupons but stick their noses all over your car sniffing for other more expensive repairs to sell you that they seem to struggle with. I've had to have their shoddy repairs fixed at other places that showed me the terrible workmanship, misdiagnosed repairs and outright sabotage (in one case they deliberately snapped something off my wife's brakes rather than fix it so it wouldn't Squeal)I'd rather go to STS for an oil change and pay a little more rather than let these guys touch my car again.
PROS: Pleasant fellow at the register
CONS: Shoddy workmanship; poor diagnostics; deceptive practices
