These days, I am not much of a hiker or camper but I still love this store. They have it all for the outdoors person. Camping, boating (canoe and kayak), biking, hiking; you name it, they have it and have people to help you too. I go for the shoes (bad feet) - always good prices and a selection that covers any outdoor or casual need. I also love their knife department (Dave is great). A good selection at very good prices. Also, they sell Timex watches at discount prices. I hardly ever see that. Once I bought a new watch there for $17 that Timex.com had for $85... I bought three and gave 2 as gifts. Great store with a staff that loves the outdoors.

This has got to be one of the best stores for everything outdoors! They carry everything from kayaks and tents to bicycling equipment and outdoor clothing. They have a wide selection of hiking boots. Everyone who works there seems to know anything about the outdoors and can give great recommendations and advice to those who are confused by what is the best thing to buy for their level. The prices cannot be beat. They also have a mail order catalog that is fantastic! This is the premiere camping store in NJ!!
