Good: The clothes were reasonably priced and they had a great variety of items to pick from.. Bad: The shark tank was very small for the shark that we saw in it. The shark was sitting at the bottom in a corner not moving. It was very very sad. It didn't have any room to swim around. To take something from it's natural environment such as the ocean and stick it in something so small. It was horrible. I feel really bad for it.. Improvements: The shark to be set free.. Other: Other than the shark it's a great place to shop..

This is a great place to go for that traditional Panama City Beach t-shirt, personalized vanity plate, or magnet. But this store is also unique in the way that it's set up very non-traditionally; they have a large area with live alligators, tanks with sharks and fish, and many things to catch your eye. This store sets itself apart from the dime-a-dozen trinket stores on the main strip. Definitely a place that everyone can enjoy.

This is always a must shop store for my family. We go to Panama City each year and always go to Alvin's at least once. They have something for every tourist. They have clothing, shoes, jewelry, hair wraps, knick knacks and you can get your ears pierced! The kids in the family especially love seeing the alligators. It is very large and has always been crowded when I've been.

Alvin's Island, especially the Magic Mountain Store, has been a tradition among tourists and locals for decades. In the past year or so, Alvin's seems to be changing its inventory to fit in with the hundreds of other t-shirt shops that spring up along the beach. In doing so, Alvin's has lost some of the character that it had with the wonderful, unique gifts and personalized items it has offered for years. I loved it the way it was. We have enough t-shirt shops where tourists can get every clothing item imaginable with Panama City Beach on it. Alvin's was unique, and should go back to its roots.

My children love to go to Alvin's Island Magic Mountain. There are tons of unique gifts there for the tourists, a huge aquarium with a couple of sharks in it and a smaller one with some pretty fish in it. The kids love to look at the many live alligators they have. They could spend hours just looking at them. There is a small where you can play for tickets and prizes. Near the are about 3-4 large birds that are fun to look at. They also have Hermit crabs to purchase. You can get glass blown here, shirts or tags airbrushed, a drawing of your kids, a fake tattoo or many other things. This store has a lot to offer besides gifts.
