The Texas Rose has true Southwest atmosphere, but a roomy, super clean and efficent Steakhouse. Food is excellent, and cooked to your satisfaction each and every time. Service is a big plus, with the Texas 'Howdy Pardner' attitude!

Setting is an old early 30s Diner, with booths, and atmosphere, but the food is worth the wait. Fresh homemade Chilli, to top the Coney Island Dogs and the open faced burgers, with Fresh Home Made Pie to end with! Service is very good to excellent, and atmosphere is a plus.

Went there on a Friday night. They were not busy(can understand why now). Sat in a booth for 15 minutes without any of the wait staff saying anything to us. The waitresses and manager on duty stood behind the counter and talked. Only when one of them noticed me staring at them did she grab some menus and start toward us. We were already up and leaving before she got there. I told the manager why we were leaving and she offered excuses--never even attempting to apologize. We use to go there often--but we won't now.
