This is a New Orleans themed restaurant. Their jambalaya is good and they have good mixed drinks and carry New Orleans beers like Turbo Dog. They have a nice environment including a lot of tributes to various people from New Orleans. The restaurant doesn't have any air conditioning so don't go on a hot day. The service is pretty good an they are very accomodating for large groups. It's better to go in the summer when Stanford is out of session (so you can get a table) but there is "less scenery" then.

We come here all the time for lunch. The calamari is great, some of the best I've had in the bay area. It's a fun atmosphere, and if you've got a larger party they seat you upstairs in sort of secluded rooms that are less loud. It's a Cajun menu and everything I've had here has been totally fine. I like the blackened fish. The prices are pretty standard for Palo Alto. It does start to get VERY busy at night when the kids come to drink, but during the day it's fine. The patio is especially nice in the summer.

Nola's menu includes some esoteris stuff like crawfish-alligator dumplings and spicy jambalaya. The staff is friendly and the whole atmosphere is casual, filled with loud music and good food. With the exception of occasionally being too oversalted, the food is pretty good, and the cocktail menu is impressive.

Nola isn't known for their cuisine but for the great atmosphere and drinks. The food is decent enough, I really enjoy the skirt steak. The mood is lively, the drinks are strong and it is a great place for a casual evening out with friends. There is outdoor seating in the courtyard with heated lamps for chillier evenings.

This is absolutely a popular spot in PA. Their Mojito is the best in town! We ordered everything on their appetizer menu, and it was absolutely a brilliant idea!

This is by far the worst restaurant in Palo Alto. I've been here twice to eat and both times regretted it. The first time I ordered their skirt steak entree which was terribly overcooked and the second time I totally forgot what I ordered because I wanted to get so drunk to forget how much money I spent on the food. You're only good if you come here for an all liquid diet from the bar. The atmosphere is definitely great and cozy. Great for birthday events but not birthday dinners. This tends to become the major hangout besides Blue Chalkk in Palo Alto. Very singles friendly. Their hurricane is a great girlie drink.
