I absolutely love this place. I went to the one in Stanford mall last week, their staff were absolustely funny and helpful. I bought truffle pate and duck pate, hmm, they were so yummy. While you are there, be sure to try their sandwiches. I wish i have two stomach after I tried their turkey and soft brie sandwich. They were soooo yummy. I heard curry chicken sandwich is a must too. They have another location in San Francisco as well.

Yes, its a little random that there is a fruit and veggie shop right in the middle of Stanford Shopping Center (because it is home to designers and store like Macy's and Nordstroms) but thats why we love it. No, thats not why. Sigona's prices do match the location: things are very expensive. Oh, except for their oyster mushrooms. For some reason they actually have a really good deal on their oyster mushrooms. But there is a secret to this place, a secret shelf! There is one single little shelf where they put "clearance" items. They mark down some random fruits and veggies, and this is the real deal. It depends one when you come and if you're lucky but sometimes you can really get a l ot of good stuff. Oh, also they have samples of stuff everywhere: oranges, mandarines, berries of all sorts, mangoes, nuts. You can come up and try a little of everything.

Whenever I go the Standford Shopping center I check out this Sigona's Farmers Market. It is a great place to pick up the freshest fruits and vegetables with my family. They also have a great selection of dried fruits and nuts. My favorites are the chili lemon pistachios and the dried spicy mangoes.

It always seems to have some beautiful blooms sitting out front, and I’m sure you’ve seen it if you’ve driven down El Camino Real in Palo Alto. It’s sort of a brown hut, and has roll down door that are pulled open to showcase the flowers. A wonderful neighborhood shop that is popular with the locals. Order, buy and send flowers locally, save money and help your community!

diddams really is an amazing party store. i have never seen such a huge selection of party goods at any other location. they have a huge downstairs organized by theme, such as hawaiian, princesses, robots, and my personal favorite, pirates. they also have tons of party supplies for every conceivable holiday. upstairs they have aisles upon aisles of toys, noise makers, crepe paper, and anything else you need for a party. they also always have great sales.

This place is great. I had to get some flowers delivered to a client that someone (no names) made a mistake on their account and I only had a small window. This was the only place to guarantee me the flowers would be there within the 2 hours I had to do this. They must have been great flowers because the client called and was very happy!
