this yoga studio is fantastic and the reality is it's the most reasonably priced. it has a large variety of classes to choose from, and I almost always see at least one instructor in the class I'm taking (read: the instructors don't just stand there and tell you what to do, they practice what they preach). for students the price is only like $9 a class, pretty unheard of in this area, esp for a place with this high of quality

The Klutz store mainly sells their own brand, Klutz. Some of the baby stuff that theu have is pretty cute. The quality is nice, although it really depends on what you are buying, some things are better than others. The prices here can get pretty high so be ready for your wallet to lose its friendly weight. Its located in kinda of a busy place so during the hustle and bustle hours of the day you might have to find parking a block or two away from the store.

My husband and I often go to Stanford on the weekends to walk around the campus, play chess, or play the piano in the music room. It is such a beatiful campus with alot of nooks and cranny to explore. Wonderful place to hang out and they often have fun events that are open to the public. This university is a great asset to the bay area. Also their bookstore is wonderful. Very well organized and fun to explore.

More
The Stanford Graduate School of Business Libary is something special. But its not open to the public so you dont hear many people talking about it. This place is serious: people come here to continue their pH D research, study for major exams, read up on whats happening with business around the world. There is actually a membership fee and only those who actua;;y go to Standord can get in. Many students have to come here because they can use really expensive books that they dont really want to buy themselves. The GSB library has a few special features: one of them for example is their collection of Corporate reports. I dont think any other library has such a big collection of corporate reports. (Corporate reports are a company's annual report of successes and losses.) One can go there and research almost any company under the sun, from all corners of the globe, and from the 1800's to now! Thats a lot of corporate reports! I actually worked here for a bit so I know the place from an insider look, and the staff is all really nice. They are willing to help with absolutly anything. Great place. If you ever get a chance, come see it. Oh yeah, and the university isnt half bad either:)

My daughter just went through the Stanford Driving School class (on El Camino in Palo Alto). They are thorough (to my daughter's dismay, they covered inertia as related to car crashes -- she thought she was finished with that concept when she passed physics!) and offer classes for young/new drivers that take school schedules into consideration.
I'll have a better idea of an accurate star-rating once my daughter has been driving for a while. Then, we'll be able to see how good the instruction was. For now, I'll offer a "neutral" rating of three stars.

My daughter went there from 2yrs to 12 years and loved every activity they had. Now my son loves it. He is 7 years old now and has been there since 2yrs and without Peninsula he would be sad. We take a week vacation and he can't wait to get back to there to see all of his friends and all of the fun games and activities. Summer is especially fantastic. It is worth every dime.

The entire guidance staff at Palo Alto High treated our family with such kindness when our son transferred to the school. Everyone was wonderful -- especially Susan Schultz who is an angel.

More
The Love n Care Christian Preschool and Daycare facility focuses on assisting children with learning concepts in the Bible and learning in general. They charge an arm and a leg here. And for that price, you would expect top notch care. There are some good lesson plans and activities. Although, a little improvement on dedicating more one on one time to each student would not hurt.

Jordan Middle School is a truly wonderful located in a great part of Palo Alto. Not only does this school have wonderful academics, the teachers are very helpful and willing to help the students. The students, in return, try very hard to succeed and because of this, this is a very good school. The campus is very nice and can compare to that of a private school. Additionally, this school has a pool that students use for Physical Education. This school is big compared to other middle schools. I definitely recommend this school if you live in the area!
