Although the building doesn't look like much, this is a very good bowling alley. They have many differerent events and the lanes are well cared for. If you are really interested in something for the family, on New Years Eve they hold 3 hour New Year's Eve bowling parties for the family. The last one goes through midnight but the earlier ones are great if you have young kids.

This bowling alley is SPECTACULAR!! What can I say? The manager, Ritch is extremely helpful and will go out of his way to make sure you have a plesant experience at Palo Alto Bowl. In addition, their newly opened pro shop is stacked with very high quality, low priced bowling equipment. The league environment is also very friendly as well. You'll see everyone from super crankers to toddlers practicing and having fun on these lanes. The equipment isn't the best, but it's tolerable. The lanes are dressed pretty well (more of a med-heavy shot) so I can't complain. Would definitely recommend this alley to EVERYONE!!

The Palo Alto Bowl is not the best bowling alley but is pretty good. They have a decent number of lanes and even bumper bowling for kids. They have arcade games and a snack bar. In their cocktail lounge they have a billiard table and darts available. Their fees are pretty reasonable and they have plenty of parking available.

Palo Alto Bowl is one of those joints where it's always been an option... and sometimes my group of friends will go oook lets go bowling. It's consistently good type of entertainment. Now what differentiates a bowling alley from the next ... somewhat eludes me. But I can say that we always have a good amount of fun bowling and hanging out at this place.
The usual disclaimer about the food there... I would be cautious ordering, same as any movie theater.

Bowl your 70's heart out. You can bowl all night (all you can bowl) for 15 bucks. Its not as nice as some of the other bowling alleys around but it does the job. There is usually always an open lane so you can just be spontaneous and go in whenever, you dont really need a reservation. Theres a bar with snacks, kind of expencive though.

Bowling is just tons of fun. This is just a normal bowling alley, there is nothiong flashy about it. You just come, bowl, eat, have fun. I would really suggest bringing your own shoes though, because as in any bowling alley, the shoes get really gross! Bring you own driks too, the ones there are just expensive. Its fun to get all you friends her, any age. I've had a birthday party here, so have my kids.

If you're looking for a classic 70's bowling joint right out of scenes of the Big Lebowski this is the one for you. They have a good all-you-can bowl for $15 from 9-1. The atmosphere isn't quite as nice as the bowling lanes down in Homestead and Cupertino. The score displays and electronics are a bit obsolete. Though this lanes will never be busy so you're always guaranteed an open lane. They also have bumper bowling for the younger enthusiasts. It would be better if it was open til 2.

Bowling made a come-back in recent years, and it is partially due to the retro-chic of youth culture today. Bowling Alleys not only allow you to test your ability in a game of skill, but also to socialize and be seen. It you bowl well or poorly everyone in the surrounding lanes will know. It’s a fun social activity, and can be a relatively cheap date, if necessary. The bar has snacks and brews. A good family-friendly sort of place, perfect for kids of all ages.

The Bowling Zone on El Camino in the city of Palo Alto is loads of fun! I can spend days and days bowling here! It is truly a fun experience. You can get all your friends and go here to have a groovy time! I like the bowling balls here, I think they are better than at other bowling alleys. The food here is good too. The only thing I don't like about this place is that the bowling shoes are often stinky and smell like feet but you have to wear them unless you bring your own pair, which is unfortunate.
