I go in LaBelle spa salon in Stanford shopping mall for facial on regular basis. I am happy with treatment I get. The whole experience is relaxing and make me feel good afterwords. Usually I book evening appointment and in the morning I look radiant. Also I buy cosmetic products from LaBelle, the basic stuff - cleanser and oxygen mist. Both product were recommended by aesthetician, and I have no regrets for buying them. (Please note, recommended!!!)
If you decided to go in LaBelle for facial or body treatment (doesn't apply for nail and hair services), come 15 earlier for foot soak, it's complimentary.
Pros: nice facial, good products

Ooh, I'm very disappointed with this place. I spent over $300 on buying little bottles of junk here and when I called the San Francisco salon (because this is near where I live in the first place) to exchange a bottle of make-up in which they gave me the wrong color, BTW, I was told that without a receipt, they can't make an exchange.
Excuse me! The bottle is clearly labeled La Belle, did I make this stuff myself? Could I have possibly purchased it at any place other than their salon? (The answer is a resounding "heck no!") Why then should I get penalized for their mistake? I offered to bring my original credit card statement clearly showing the date of when I purchased it and that wasn't good enough either. Oh you don't want the same thing happening to you, do you? Getting treated that way, I mean.

Ive been here twice....once for a facial and once for a massage. The Facial was OK but not the best and the massage was awful. I would definitely not go back.

I sinned- I have a great massage therapist, but I wanted to get a "spa" experience so I went here. Mistake! Ok, it looks nice, but it's kinda busy and I felt rushed, and the massage- well it feels nice but didn't real get much done.
So, save the candles and foot bath for girl's night out and get your massage from someone who knows what he's doing- and doesn't rush you through. The best massuese I know is Steven in Los Altos. He doesn't have a city search page, but you can find him at Positive Massage on google.
Pros: Looks great, relaxing atmosphere
Cons: So so massage

I went into LaBelle for a quick leg waxing, not to enjoy a day at the spa, which sounds great from all accounts. It's well-appointed and the rooms are very private. The aesthetician began to wax using a hot roller-style device rather than the liquid. I noticed that it was either not warm enough or was stuck so that the roller strip would not rotate when applied against the skin, very painfully pulling the skin along with it. I asked if it needed to be heated more or if it was conventional to use this, but she said it was easier to use and to clean up.
My mistake was in not being much more insistent that she switch to the liquid wax. She didn't test the roller prior to application to make sure wax was flowing and also used a surprisingly aggressive motion to apply it, so the overall effect was rather to "pull and rip" down the skin each couple first strokes. Needless to say, when I jumped off in pain (not from the waxing which was fine but from the aggressive pulling), she switched to the other wax, which in my opinion should have been done right away. But- what can you say when you mention it's uncomfortable and they respond that it is conventional and keep on going?? Of course, had i known, I would have yelled rather loudly to switch :)
My thighs now have long strips of broken vessels along the paths of the roller applicator. Please be insistent if you notice that they are using this or any other device properly, ie, filling it up and heating it right so it works properly and not damaging your skin. I was surprised that more attention wasn't paid to the client's comfort, and also that the aesthetician would keep right on rolling when it was clear that wax was not coming out and I pointed out that it was painful.

My friend went to La Belle to have her hair and makeup done for her wedding day and she looked amazing, so I booked appointments here as well on my sister's wedding day. For us, the makeup was great, but the hair was terrible. They spent an hour blowing out my hair, but because the appointment hadn't been booked properly, they would not put my hair up, saying there was not enough time. I was disappointed that they could not be more accomodating. Moreover, I was not happy with the blowout and I had strands of hair sticking straight up above my head when they finished! I was shocked that they expected me to walk out this way. I ended up walking into a nearby salon, where within 20 minutes, they had rescued me and saved the day with a simple updo and taming all the flyaways. It was stressful, as we were pressed for time, but they were quick and did my hair perfectly so I could be happy and relaxed the rest of the day. My mother also had her hair done at La Belle and was almost in tears she was so unhappy with it. We brushed it out a little, and ultimately, it seemed pointless to have had made a hair appointment for her. My sister's hair was fine, but on the whole, I was extremely disappointed and will never go back to have my hair done. There are plenty of other salons who do much better work, and for much less money.

He also gave me some stylinging tips that actually work. It is a little pricy, but I think its better to get it done right the first time!

I started coming here for hair cuts upon a recommendation of a co worker. Since the staff was skilled and friendly and the decor high class, I decided to buy my wife a gift certificate for our anniversary for one of their packages. My wife loved it and said it was the best gift I've ever given her..
Pros: Location, Facilities, Knowledge
Cons: Pricey but worth it!

I love the hair salon and facial treatments at LaBelle- they are hands down the best in the area. I do wish they would add more employees who do brazillian bikini waxes - one of their employees downright refused to do it and gave me a pretty disgusted look when I asked her for one. But it's usually a great spa!
Pros: Great hair salon, facials
Cons: pricey, not many aestheticians do brazillians

I went into LaBelle with a girlfriend for facials for the first time and had an amazing service! I'm always worried about trying a new place for facials because I worry about breaking out or reacting to low quality products. Well, my service was great. I had the customized Royal Touch facial and left feeling relaxed, my skin felt super clean, and within a couple of days my skin looked great.
My friend and I will definitely go back as this was a great opportunity for us to take care of ourselves and "hang out".
Pros: ample parking, knowledge, products
