For my wedding cake I went cake shopping like we all do. I compared prices and cakes and finally ended up with Wal-Mart. For less than $150 I had a three tiered beautiful wedding cake. It was the tastiest cake I have ever had. The tradition of keeping the top layer for the year anniversary kind of grossed me out but after freezing the cake I was amazed that when we thawed it it totally tasted like the day we had it. I was amazed. I have since bought cakes from my local Wal-Mart and have always had great luck with it.

I bought my sheets at Walmart and I think they are so pretty. I got it as a bed in the bag and it was about $60. I just bought those t-shirt sheets for my daughter. I hope she likes them!! Anyways the set I got came with the comforter, sheets, 2 pillowcases, 2 shams, and the bedskirt. I thought that was great as it was for a king size bed. Great deal when you get it all together!

This Wal-Mart Super center is built in the heart of downtown Ellenton/ Palmetto. Just right off the US41 bypass on US 301 highway makes it really easy for an on and off getaway. One thing i like is that I do not have to travel to the next town just to go. Also this wal-Mart the sewing section is near the front so you don't have to travel to the back corner just to find it. So far they have great deals and the people there are friendly.

We've been anxiously waiting for a WalMart on the "north side of the river" for almost 20 years (since we moved to Palmetto) and now we finally have one. At first I thought it would be very difficult to enter and exit the parking lot from US Hwy 301, but find that is not the case after all. Traffic is bearable at this time of the year but the real test will come in the winter when our northern visitors arrive. The store itself is very well laid out but a little different than the other WalMarts in the area. For example, fabrics are centrally located near the front of the store, while the other area WalMarts have the fabric/crafts departments in a back corner. The store has a lot of natural lighting in the form of skylights. Management has tweaked the lighting system to make the best use of natural and artificial light. Price of merchandise is very good and there is a wide selection from which to choose. The store personnel are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
