The berry and cheese danishes are to die for! In addition, they have a variety of cookies that are great for parties and snacks. The workers are very friendly and eager to help you. Fred is the baker and owner of this best bakery around! His donuts, cakes, cookies and everything he bakes is out of this world! I grew up in Palisades Park, and on Sunday's, the lines were out his door (especially after church ended). To avoid the lines, you are able to prepay and place your order ahead, so you can just walk in, grab your goodies and go. Everytime, I'm even close to Palisades Park, I have to make a pit stop here to grab my favorites -- crumb buns, cream donuts and chocolate dipped cookies. Even though, I now live 1/2 hour North of Palisades Park, for my son's christening's and communion's I still make sure I get a sheet cake from the Palisades Park bakery. It's definitely worth the trip!!

If you are looking for fresh baked goods this is definitely the place. Their cakes, cookies and breads are always fresh. Although a small shop, there are always lots of goodies on the shelves and they also take special orders. There is parking but it is along the side street on the left and all the way down the hill in the back. Prices are very reasonable and everything is delicious!

Palisades Park Bakery has one of the best Cholocate Layer Cakes around. You can buy one and freeze the other if you live a distance away, comes out prefect defroasted. They have a grand selection of breads, but come early especially on Sunday mornings. Special order cakes can be ordered in advance; they make a great napolean cake. Parking is almost always a pain.

You need to special order your requests around the holidays and lines often reach the front door. Store is small but clean. Staff is pleasent. Napolean sheet cake is available and good.
