Rowan Oak, the home of Wiliam Faulkner, is a staple of southern history in Oxford. Now owned by the University of Mississippi, Rowan Oak was just recently re-opened to the public after major restorations to bring it back to its former appearance, as it was when Faulkner was writing their. Rowan Oak sits on a beautiful setting, lush with tall trees and flowers. The house itself is wonderful. Free to students of the University, check out Rowan Oak the next time you're in Oxford.

Great location on town square. If you are waiting to get in a restaurant, its a great place to browse and wish that you can buy a piece of art. They do have a variety of art for the rich and modest families. I'm sure you will be very impressed. A lot of talent in Oxford, MS and the surrounding areas. Our state do have a lot of people that go on to be actors, actresses, authors, singers, etc.

From a playground that kids are sure to love, to a baseball field, covered area for parties, even a frisbee golf course, Avent Park is the idea family fun area in Oxford. Always a great place to take the dog, Avent Park is large enough that your best friend will have plenty of room to stretch his legs.

This is a store that caters to the Greek population on campus. They really have nothing that would interest townies and they act as if they don't care much at all about attracting any other demographic. Everything in there is emblazoned with a Greek logo. Not for me. I don't go there and I wouldn't recommend it.
