Local Color is kind of an urban myth around town. But, it is there and it is a store and you can go in and buy things. They have resident dogs and the owner/ clerk is a dead ringer for Jerry Garcia. It is a neat place to go for sure.

I've been to alot of movie theaters in my day, but never have I been to one as terible as Malco's Cine 4 in OXford. From out of focus camera lenses to fading in and out speakers, they have it al! The theater itself is very oddly designed. It features a sloping down then up design that puts extra strain on your neck, making you enjoy the experience even more. The best feature about the theater is that they only have four films at one time, so if you want to see a movie but don't have time that week, chances are it will be gone next week.

Great location on town square. If you are waiting to get in a restaurant, its a great place to browse and wish that you can buy a piece of art. They do have a variety of art for the rich and modest families. I'm sure you will be very impressed. A lot of talent in Oxford, MS and the surrounding areas. Our state do have a lot of people that go on to be actors, actresses, authors, singers, etc.
