I am male and don't really care for a spot or two on neck. But I thought let me just get it checked anyway. Dr Steven did not voluntarily share his diagnosis. When I asked he said it is some fungus. I did not find his explanation convincing. He asked me if my insurance covered my pharmacy. I told him it should. His office some me $40 special skin scrubbing lotion that can be found only in clinic. CVS told me that insurance did not cover this medicine. It costed $393 without insurance. I checked what this medicine is for. Turned out it's for seborrheic dermatitis which is nothing like what I have. I little search on net and I found out if this is really what I have a regular Walmart Equate Dandruff shampoo could be just as effective and further have no steroid side effect. The medicine Exina prescribed by Dr was FDA approved in 2007 and I see them requiring to recover the money. I am not paying for this greedy doctor, FDA and the pharmaceutical company. during my office visit, i was 1/2 an hour late getting into the examination room. a nurse spoke with me and was not at all friendly. there i waited another 40 minutes for dr. snyder to come into the room. he examined me, told me i needed a letter from my insurance company to do the proceedure and left. it took less thank 5 minutes. what is worse is that i had called the office and his office was supposed to have written and sent off the letter 2 weeks ago at the time. i called today and it STILL was not done. it has been 3 weeks since. I am extremely dissatisfied with this office. i would not recommend it to anyone because of the lack of motivation. they do not care for their patients. i am currently finding another place to get my proceedure done because they do not deserve my business. a late appointment i could forgive but not even sending the letter yet is lazy and rude. I have had now several great experiences with Dr. Snyder and his staff at the Dermatology laser Center. First, I was very impressed with how nice his staff is, especially with my very first call and the helpful information Kristian provided on the phone. He is very professional and courteous. Dr. Snyder spent a good amount of time with me in my consultation and addressed every one of my concerns and put me at ease. It was easy to choose his services as he is one of the first doctors in the country using many of his lasers. I started off with Botox to look more rested and the following week started my Fraxel Laser treatments for some acne scarring and age lines of my face. The results have been just great! Dr. Snyder also used Radiesse in my cheeks and my friends say I look much more rested and younger. He has dozens of lasers at his office and I have also started laser hair hair removal and been pleasantly surprised at how really painless it is and how quickly my hairs have been removed. I have referred Dr. Snyder to several of my closest friends who have had very similar results. Can't wait for my next laser treatment! Pros: Best Place for Cosmetic Laser Services, Great Results

I wish I had. Total rip off. Maybe the procedures do not always work. Mine certainly did not and I should I just donated the hundreds of dollars. Or threw them away. At least I would not have been kept waiting, gotten sick, been uncomfortable and insulted. I went in with a specific problem and that was not helped. The doctor was unkind and kept mocking me because for the most part I am comfortable with how I look. I guess that is bad for business when you sell procedures that do not usually execute.

Dr. Snyder is an excellent dermatologist at the Dermatology Laser Center. I felt it was worth it for my piece of mind to see Dr. Snyder based on the recommendation of my co-workers who have been patients for several years. I found Dr. Snyder to be very thorough, kind and very informative about my medical concerns. I am forever grateful that he was able to recognize and remove what turned out to be a melanoma skin cancer in its very early stages. I have since sent two of my family members to see Dr. Snyder and all of us have always found the office staff to be very pleasant, helpful and informative. The wait time is usually very acceptable.I highly recommend Dr. Snyder because of the trust I have developed in his medical knowledge and skills. He has the most immaculate Dr's office I have ever been to. Pros: Definite thumbs up! Professional, caring Dr. and staff

I recently had a series of Fraxel treatments for my acne scarring of my face done by Dr. Snyder at the Dermatology Laser Center.I had been ashamed of for many years since my teenage. Years ago, I had received two dermabrasion procedures in a different state by another doctor, but still was not satisfied with the scarring that had remained. Fortunately I was refered to Dr. Steven Snyder due to what I heard from my best friend who also had received a Fraxel series of treatments from Dr. Snyder and was very happy.I had considered a differnt resurfacing laser procedure as well, but Dr. Snyder was very comforting in explaining that a series of Fraxel treatments could be done without any IV sedation with very significant results achievable and very comfortably. All I needed was a topical anestetic which was left on around 45 minutes before my procedure. It was very tolerable and I felt at ease throughout the procedure due to Dr. Snyder's knowledge and expert care as he treated me. He was very informative before the procedure and during it. At the end, after about 30 minutes, I was given a complimentary Gentlewaves procedure for additional benefit and only had minimal pinkness to my face. Like I was explained, I was able to return to work that same day with some very mild swelling that subsided over the next few days. I had a series of these treatments every few weeks and after each treatment I kept seeing continued improvement of my acne scars. Not only that, but there was an added benefit of removing some wrinkles and even improving the overall texture in my skin. Many friends and family members tell me how much younger I look. Being in my fifties, it is great to hear I am looking 10 years younger. I have received a total of 5 Fraxel treatments and I am amazed at how great my results are, even better than I was told were possible. Thanks, to Dr. Snyder for my great results. Dr Snyder has to be the most arrogant doc i have ever been to. I was on time for my appointment, the staff were polite and the wait was not long ,but when the doc came in to see me i started showing him my problems and he misdiagnosed my shingles for eczema, i told him i was pos for herpes and could he take a culture or send me to a lab and he said there was no need , all i needed was some topical ointment and a return visit next month, I come in the next appointment and this time i did plenty of research and still he sent me home with a bunch of prescriptions for topical ointments and i told him my self diagnosis and the research i did and he didn't care ,obviously he was the smartest person in the room with me, so from there i went to the health dept. and they confirmed my diagnosis and gave me the proper script and now my Varicella Zoster Virus ( shingles) is being attended to. Pros: doctors go to school for years to get degrees, Cons: you get better info from the internet

I went to Dr. Snyders office because of some good reviews I read online. I had laser hair removal done on my face and neck. First of all, I have no clue why anyone would say his office is organized. I was taken to an extremely cluttered back room. It looked like a storage facility for medical equipment. In the center of the room was a very small work space where I received my treatments. Dr Snyder himself does not preform the treatments. I was left in the hands of two different unprofessional "sidekicks". This is not the worst part. I was charged $650.00 per session! I didn't realize how bad this was until I did some shopping around. You can EASILY find someone with as much or more experience and better education than Dr. Snyder for FAR less. I was completely ripped off. By the way, Dr. Snyder got his education in Mexico. That alone should explain something! I called later to complain about what I had been charged and was told that the fees are standard because of Dr Snyders education! Funny...you would think that would be discount worthy but lets not forget that he doesn't perform them himself anyway. So, why the insane fees? Don't let it happen to you. I made the mistake of just researching experience etc. Make sure if you pay for the "experience" you get it! Also, I had consultations with 3 other places with the same or more education and experience and not one of them was over 200 per session!

I really had a great experience at the Dermatology Laser Center and I am very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of both Dr. Snyder and his very nice staff. Everyone was very helpful in answering my questions and concerns. The office is really very neat and immaculate. I had called other offices to schedule a consultaion to treat the acne scars of my face, but I was uncomfortable with the manner in which some of the receptionsists didn't seem to care about whether I called or not. Dr. Snyder's receptionist s made me feel like this was the the place to go for the the best treatment for my condition. I was very glad I went. I have had already three Fraxel laser treatments for my face, and I would say that already there is better than a 75% improvement of many of my facial scars. All my friends have noticed and I feel a greater sense of confidence. I am scheduled to have two more treatments and am excited about how much better it will look. I am very pleased with everyone at this office and definitely would recommend this laser center and Dr. Snyder to all my friends and family. Pros: Modern office facilities, attractive decor, very professional staff and Dr.

I recentlt stumbled on this site and just had to congratulate Dr. Snyder and his staff for the excellent work and care I have been receiving. Everyone was very professional and his staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. I have had laser hair removal, laser spider vein treatments and this past week the removal of several brown spots on my face and hands that were really starting to make me look and feel much older. I was particularly impressed with the way Dr. Snyder took the time to explain the procedures, answering all of my questions and offering different treatment options. He has so many lasers in his large office, it seems that any kind of procedure that involves a laser I ask about he has the laser to take care of me. I first learned about him from my cousin who received four laser treatments to remove a very hideous homemade tatto that had plagued her for years because she was hiding it under a bandage on her arm. She was so happy with her results which completely removed the tattoo and left no evidence of it ever having been there. All she would talk about is how pleased she was with his office and staff that I just had to find out for myself. I am very glad I did! I would highly recommend Dr. Snyder for any type of cosmetic laser procedure you might want. He certainly is very knowledgeable, professional and interested in helping people achieve their goals.
