Tarahumara has the best Mexican food, and unique entree's compared to any other Kansas City Mexican Restaurant. The price is low and the food quality and quantity is high! It's a don't miss! They even have homeade tamales that you can buy by the dozen to take home and freeze.

There's 2 locations I know of in Overland Park. And I don't notice a difference in either. They're both absolutely awesome! The one on 143rd does offer a sushi bar, that I don't believe the one on 135th does. From what I've heard (not being a big sushi eater) their sushi is just ok, but everything else they have is really, really good. Their food tastes very fresh. You're never waiting long to get your food. Their meats and veggies are of great quality. For people who haven't been here, but have been to PF Changs, I'd say similar atmosphere, but better food and slightly better prices. I have been going to FW since it opened and have never left unhappy. Very consistant. The only knock I'l say is that they have steadily raised their prices over the past few years. I was comparing a carry-out menu that was 3 years old to their current one and everything has gone up about 2 dollars a dish. Regardless, it's still worth it!! GO ALREADY!!!
Pros: awesome atmosphere and best pad thai in KC

I put down 5 stars because i really do believe this store deserves it. I know that the store had a rough patch where some of the employess weren't doing what there jobs required, but it seems as if eveything is under control (maybe thats why the other remarks are bad). The sales people are all nice and not stuck up. The store has a amazing selection of jewelry and the prices are extremely reasonable. The jewler is remarkable, he did a lot of work on my daughters jewelry. Noble House is one of the few jewelry stores I have ever been into that I can tollerate. And the owner is extremely nice and took time to help me pick out my new ring!

I've been eating Johnny C's for over 20 years, and it is my favorite pizza in KC. It comes with a thin crisp crust, but it is the provel cheese that really makes the pizza great. It is also an interesting place to visit. The atmosphere is relaxed. This is definitely a family friendly place, but they do serve cold beer which is a perfect companion for the pizza.
The only knock on their food is that with the thin crust and the way they cut the pizza into small square pieces, it can sometimes be a bit messy if you order too many toppings. In my opinion, this is a small issue for a pizza that is this good and unique here in KC.
Something I haven't seen other reviews mention is the sandwiches. They make a fantastic Italian steak on a toasted roll with the same cheese they use on the pizza. It is in a strip shop at the corner of 75th and Nieman which is an easy in and out from I-35.

My elderly Sheltie would not eat. The staff gave me many sample bags of food so that we could try to see if she would like the food. Every time I went in I was asked about how our dog was doing. They truly cared. Our dog has since died and we are now getting another Sheltie from a breeder. It is so fun to go in to see what is new and cute for our new puppy. I will consult with them on what is the best food to feed her. It is expensive, but they carry thing you can't find anywhere else. It is a fun, family friendly place to visit.
Pros: Great selection of products, very helpful staff, fun!
Cons: Expensive, but quality

This is a very small liquor store without much variety at all. This would be considered a liquor store to go to only out of convenience, not for selection or price. They just have the most popular wine, beer and liquor. They don’t carry any unique brands or do anything to differentiate themselves.

First of all, I am not artsy inclined but I had a blast doing this. You can chose from a wide variety of pottery and decorate any way you want. They had plates, cups, planters, and trays. While I was there, I saw couples on dates there, a lot of small kids with their parents there, and girlfriends spending time there. The kids that were there just loved getting paint all of the place. This is a good place to do gifts to your loved one. I will enjoyed myself

I eat at this place way too much. They should call this place Bubba Gump Chinese Food. They have so much shrimp on the buffet.
Always friendly staff and newly remodeled. Clean!
