I love thai restuarants and consider this one the best. Service is great and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table. Great selection of menu items. Every dish that I have tried has been wonderful. Great place for a romantic dinner.

Having lived in Japan a long time I can tell ya' Sushi Gin is as good a place as you'll find in the KC area. They've always been busy but the service was good and it's a relative bargain. It's not a fancy place but it's clean and makes an attempt at Japanese decor, they even have a 'tatami' room. All too often it's the people with sour grapes in their mouths that write reviews so I want to make it clear, if you want real Japanese cuisine at a reasonable price, Sushi Gin is the place to go in Overland Park. Honestly, the other places should have to state their food is sushi-like or Japanesque... I like Asian Fusion but I want to know that's what I'm getting up front. And, remember, if you're making comparisons, a Japanese Steakhouse is really American food with a Japanese twist created after WWII in Occupied Japan. To the person with the credit card issue, better get used to it, I imagine a lot of places are going to be offering discounts for cash or charging a premium to cover their card processing costs so they don't have to raise menu prices. Besides, if you'd gone to any other sushi place you'd have paid more and gotten less. $1.50, really???
Pros: Authentic, good food, Japanese owned and operated.
Cons: Minimal decor and usually busy

I've known the people at Pampered Pets and have been a customer and I can wholeheartedly assure anyone who is searching for a good grooming experience that few groomers in the KC area take their job as seriously.
The point of grooming an animal is that excess hair comes off and it has to go somewhere. Part of the attraction of taking your animal to a grooming shop is that you do not want that excess fur on *your* floor, as do almost thirty other customers a day. Despite this, they manage to clean the store at least twice a day, but with as many customers as they get, they can't steam clean the store twice a day.
Pet groomers need to eat, too. If the cost is really that much of a point of contention for someone looking to get a grooming, perhaps it's better to groom your own animal.
All of the animals in the shop have identification cards securely attached to their cages, which is where they are when they are not in the hands of the groomers. Pampered Pets also has air conditioning and the cages are always fastened.
Pampered Pets NEVER uses tranquilizers and as a matter of fact is well known throughout the Kansas City Area for taking problem animals and grooming them when others won't.
It sounds like the previous reviewer was having a bad day, since the majority of the reviews here are quite positive. I'm very pleased to leave yet another positive and glowing review of Pampered Pets.

After 17 years of wear and tear, I had to redesign my wife's engagement ring. We wanted to incorporate four smaller diamonds and gold from another ring into a custom design. We went to the big famous and fancy store of Kansas City and were told that they wouldn't use our gold, and the price was still shocking. After checking out the reviews here, we went over to House of Diamonds. The people really are very nice and very accommodating. Most of the jewelry in their store is custom made and is beautiful, so we decided to give them a try. The price quoted was far more reasonable, and they gave a credit for the gold salvaged from the other ring. The initial rendition wasn't what we were hoping for, and Karen had absolutely no problem working with our suggestions which were only general in nature. Amazingly, on the second try, she had far exceeded anything we had envisioned. The process was very professional yet friendly, and the finished product just wowed us. I'm really not big into reviews, but when a business meets then exceeds your expectations in every way, you have to give them credit.
Pros: Friendly, professional, reasonably priced and high quality

I like going to several of the Custards Last stand locations. We are always greated with a friendly smile. They keep their stores perfectly clean. My favorite is PB&B. It has Peanut Butter and big chunks of brownies. They dont cheat you at all on your toppings. To top it all off they blend it well and turn it upside down.

Oak Park Mall is by far the best mall around. It is a huge mall that is constantly being renovated to keep up with the times. It has a carousel and a train in the bottom level of the mall for the young children or those young at heart. Some of the great store and restaurants include The Rainforest Cafe, Build a Bear Workshop, Victoria's Secret.

I 've never been fan of sushi. Me and a couple of colleagues went there for dinner and I tried sushi again for the second time. WOW!!! The spicy tuna roll made me ecstatic about sushi. :) Anyways... I've tried others as well in the KC areas. NO COMPARISONS!!! I'm looking forward to having a birthday dinner there this year. So Kyoto, please look forward to me and my hungry group in August, 2008. LOL!
