Bo Ling's will never disappoint you if you're looking for great, reasonably priced Chinese food. I would recommend their General Tso's Chicken with fried rice. My husband and I are frequent diners at Bo Ling's!

I love this place !! Great flavors. My favorites are the Dum Aloo and the Vegetable Pakora. The Dum Aloo is a potato ball in a wonderful savory sauce - great for dipping your Garlic Naan. This is my favorite Indian Food place in the Metro !

My husband and I used to go here for date nights and we always had such a good time ice skating. It's so interesting to see the level of performers that go skating there. You'll find the tiniest little children hobbling around on skates, to people in their 60's learning the same.
The ice is kept clean, the facilites are clean and we've always enjoyed going there. I can't wait to take my kids!

Applebee's is one of my very favorite resturants. I have been going there for a very long time. It is a really good family resturant, too. I really like the House Sirloin steak cooked to medium well. On the side fries, and white rice. The prices aren't to high, and it is really fun. Go to Applebee's. I think it is perfect.

Guys, this is the real thing. The place is not the prettiest place on earth. It's small and when you walk in, everybody looks at you(especially if you are white.) But the food is amazing. Try the curry hotpot, it's hot, tender and delicious. Also, call one day before you go and ask for the crispy chicken. You will not believe what you are eating. Now, the serving style is a little different, it's all chopped in little pieces, however, it is goooood.
Their seafood is great too. Pick something out from the little tank and ask them to cook in in ginger and green onion style. It's the best.
Their usual fried rice, fried noodle, fried chow fun are great. I have been living in the KC area for a long time and I lived in asia for a while, this is as close as you can get from the streets of Hong Kong.

Wow. I was so impressed with this restaurant! They brought a high chair without us asking for it, a bib, and cheerios for our toddler to eat before the "real" food came. They also had an excellent kid's menu with some healthy choices, including fruit. I also think they have a varied menu for adults. My favorites are the Quiche and the Chicken Cordon Bleu. There muffins are a bit large, but they are delicious too.

Price Chopper is a great grocery store. You can find anything at all you need. It also has very very low prices. I have been going to Price Chopper a very long time. Also, for every bag you reuse, you get 5 cents off. I know it might not sound like that much, but it really adds up. The people their are very friendly, too, and help you with whatever you need!!!

When I moved away from the Kansas City area for a couple of years, I missed the mid west. So, when I would come to visit, I would always hit Kansas Sampler to get items to take back with me. You can find anything that deals with Kansas and/or Missouri in there. I was able to pick up some Kansas Postcards and I put them in a frame. It was much cheaper than actually purchasing a picture. If you are looking any type of item with KU or KSU logos, this is the place. I was able to get some Wizard of Oz items also. Now that I am back at home, I love to in and still shop. It can be expensive.
