These people are great! Give them a call and you can get same day delivery on balloon bouquets. I surprised my husband at the firestation with a balloon bouquet on his 30th B-Day. I called early in the morning and he had his arrangement by 3:00 the same day. I told them what I wanted and they came through for me. Very happy with this business.....

Accent Sound is a little out-of-the-way place by old downtown Overland Park. They sell custom stereo and home theater solutions. Their price range is around $500 to about $25,000 and carry a nice assortment of equipment. They are not as high-end as other stores in the area, but instead sell more to the people that don't want to buy a cheap "all in one box" solution from some super electronics store. The staff is friendly and helpful and they have a wide assortment of listening rooms and demos.

Although Ace Sports & Tickets is great for tickets that are needed at the last minute, I have found them to be extremely high priced in any other instance. I have found tickets for sporting events to be significantly cheaper, and providing better seats than those available through Ace Sports & Tickets. My advice for finding the event tickets that you desire: Try Ebay first, Ticketmaster and similar sites next, followed by your local paper online and use Ace Tickets only when you have no other options, or unless you don’t mind paying excessively for mediocre seats.

My girlfriends and I love to do pottery at All Fired Up! They have special nights where you can bring in your own wine and food and paint your pottery in a relaxing atmosphere. Old town Overland Park is the loaction and their building is big enough for large or small groups.

This place has a good amount of selection and the prices are fair. It seems to be more and more difficult to find a really good baseball card store, but this one foots the bill. They carry other types of cards than just baseball as well. Definitely one to put on your list of collectibles stores to check out.

This and many other Hallmarks now have a free rewards loyalty program like some grocery stores where you buy a certain amount of cards and receive gift certificates. This particular Hallmark is known locally for its candy selection. They also carry Yankee Candles and during the summer they have sometimes have a Candle of the Week special.
