First I would have to say that I have been a huge fan of this place for years. Although they don't have a huge selection on the menu like some other chinese restaurants there food is good. The wait staff are some the best that I have seen. If I would need a refill, they were always right there. In addition, I love there friend rice. The only compliant would be that other places you tend to get more food for your money at a better price. But other than that, I give it 2 thumbs up!

I've been to the Bo Ling's in the Plaza KCMO several times for dim sum (Sat/Sun starting at 11 AM). It is definitely one of the best. There are fresh fried noodles and dumplings being cooked in the dining area. There's a large selection of dishes: Congee, duck, steamed dumplings, fried dumplings, sticky rice, homemade sweet tofu dessert, etc. Moving here from Chicago, IL, they had every dish I'd expect from traditional dim sum in Chinatown. Go with 3-4 friends and expect to pay $15-$20 for a lot of food.

My best friend took me here on my birthday. I can't say they had a wonderful selection but the food was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly as compared to other chinese restaurant's I've eaten at. I can't comment on the price because he wouldn't let me see the ticket but I don't imagine it was too much seeing as we're both college students with limited spending capabilities. Overall I can't say I'd reccommend it, but I wouldn't exactly shun it either.
