I'm not from New York but who doesn't enjoy a nice slice of pizza. Really, when I compare the pizzas from all around the city d'bronx really takes the cake. I used to go to Original Pizza, enjoyed the friendly staff and that made it worthwhile but last time I went in there the staff was just plain rude. If this is what these reviewers are referring to when they say 'new york style' pizza, all I have to say is 'No Thank You.'

I moved here from New York about a year ago and have been looking for some real New York pizza. A friend recommended that I try original pizza. It doesn't even compare to New York pizza. Anyone that knows anything about pizza can see that. I would rather eat domino's.

After recently moving from New York City and growing up on the high qualilty pizza that is made there, i have discovered Original Pizza which has the same great taste and style as the New York pizza. Since it's a family business, the employees are extremely nice and will carry on a great friendly conversation any time. Easily the best pizza outside of New York.

I absolutely love this pizza. Honestly, it is better than a lot of places in NY. When I first moved to KC, someone told me about Original Pizza and I didn't believe them. Once I tried it, I never add pizza anywhere else again. It is delicious. In fact, all of their food is delicious. Inexpensive and a definite great find!

Pros: By the slice or whole pizza!

Have enjoyed this pizza since moving here from the East Coast 20+ years ago. If you are looking for New York style (thin crust, fold in half to eat it...)this is the place for you. A great place for a slice for lunch. Carry out orders are ready in about 10-15 minutes.
Definitely our favorite pizza in Kansas City!
