The store is very well organized and clean and has a wide selection of asian stuff not limited to chinese food. Usually we can get some fresh veggie on Saturday morning and they also sell some fresh seafood but i never try it before. I think this is the best you can get in overland park

This store was recommended by a friend of mine for fresh veggies on every tuesday. They also sell all kind of indian cooking spices as well as some tropical fruits. The price are reasonable and the employees are ok. I usually get there around lunch time tuesday to get the fresh veggie and usually the veggie finish up pretty fast.

Applebee's is one of my very favorite resturants. I have been going there for a very long time. It is a really good family resturant, too. I really like the House Sirloin steak cooked to medium well. On the side fries, and white rice. The prices aren't to high, and it is really fun. Go to Applebee's. I think it is perfect.

We almost didn't try La Cocina del Puerco because "The kitchen of the Pig" didn't sound like it would have a lot to offer two individuals who don't eat pork or beef. The brightly colored decor is festive and enticing, but the seating is somewhat uncomfortable with rigid, wooden chairs and tables, and wooden picnic tables on the outdoor patio. Any discomfort or hesitation was quickly forgotten when the chips and salsa arrived immediately after we were seated. The salsa was chunky and flavorful with obviously fresh ingredients, not the usual bland tomato paste most local Mexican restaurants serve. The margaritas (we had a pitcher of the Gold Margaritas) were very tasty, and strong as a good margarita should be. There was no cheap, heartburn inducing sour mix in these freshly made 'ritas. The food was also very fresh tasting and exceptionally flavorful! We LOVE Manny's - this is better!
Pros: strong margaritas, excellent, fresh food, outstanding service
Cons: uncomfortable seating
