We went to a birthday party at Wacky Banana a couple of years ago. They have a room set up for the kids to go and play. The kids can swing from a rope, crawl through tunnels and play lots of parachute games with the party coordinators. After playing, they have a room set up for cake and presents. A very easy party to have and the kids all seem to enjoy themselves and will be ready for a nap after all that exercise!

You will find a nice variety of musical instruments at W J Music & Gifts. I bought an electic keyboard and some accessories to go along with it. The sales staff was very friendly and helpful and knew what they were talking about. They weren't "over priced" and run pretty good sales. They also have a wide variety of cameras and photo equipment. Oh, and they also do repair, so if you have something that isn't working...take it to them. Great store!

We've used the Vodvill Entertainment company for years and they have never failed to provide the best professional variety acts for our events. They have some rather unique things too that we have enjoyed like living Statues, a comic waiter, a full size Robot and The Recycle Cycle.
Just a good competent group of people who really love what they do!

Saint Andews Golf Course is the best golf course in Overland Park. The eighteen hole course is beautiful. It is also challenging, but is also suitable for beginners to play. I have played the front nine many times, but rarely have played the back nine. Saint Andews also has a nice driving range that is fun to hit at.
My favorite part of the front nine is the seventh hole. The long par four requires you to hit over water, then turn right at aim at the hole.
The driving range prices are kind of high like Overland Park Golf Club, and that is why Saint Andews gets four stars instead of five.

Got to buy or just stop by to enjoy the art! They have interpretive art in this less like a gallery more like an art adorned house layout. This casual setting actually gives you more freedom to enjoy the art and is visually more appealing. You’ll find the occasional sofa as you turn through all the ‘hallways.’ They have featured items and artists. All very enjoyable and good quality but comes with a heavy price tag.

The Palazzo Theater in Overland Park is a great movie theater. With sixteen screens it shows all the news movies very often. The seats are luxuriously comfortable. The popcorn is better than any other movie theater that I have been at.
Palazzo gets four stars instead of five because it is kind of expensive.

I was never a huge fan of golf, but working here definatly made me a fan of the course. Everybody I worked with made it a joy coming in to work every day and the golfers I dealt with were always very friendly, even after a rough game, which has to show they enjoyed where they were. The greens were always well kept and the location is in a nice area of Overland Park. I remember rates also being pretty decent as well, but it's been a year or two.

Oak Park Mall is by far the best mall around. It is a huge mall that is constantly being renovated to keep up with the times. It has a carousel and a train in the bottom level of the mall for the young children or those young at heart. Some of the great store and restaurants include The Rainforest Cafe, Build a Bear Workshop, Victoria's Secret.

Meyer Music is a music store that sells musical instruments, and also offers lessons for them. My sister used to go to Meyer Music, but the prices were very high. Luckily they were having a promotion that girl scouts got free piano lessons during the summer back then. I don’t think they offer that anymore. As soon the summer was over my sister stopped going there.
