I try to make purposeful trips to this store although I like to go just for the fun. They have everything I usually want for Children'sChurch, Praise and Worship, and books. I also like their music dept. You can preview all the music you buy. I like the books/bible dept they always have fabulous sales. I buy lots when I go here.

Borders is a great place to get just the right book. Borders has a huge variety of books to choose from. It also has a lot of CD's. Borders also has a cafe. Border's cafe is a great place to go for a nice cup of coffee while you read a book. It is also really cheap.

This store has books, magazines, maps, coffee shop, music, movies, children's area. They usually have good sale tables. They have gift cards that make excellent gifts. Staff is friendly and helpful. If they are out of stock or do not carry something and it is still available---they will order it for you. You could spend hours in this store :)

This bookstore carries used books at a good price. They have a good assortment of books and they have a great children’s section. My kids love going into this store. They have a very kid friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Books are typically half off the cover price, which really helps considering the cost of a new book.

I am, sadly, biased when it comes to this place. Borders always seemed too crowded and at a distance that thoroughly annoyed my parents when I was growing up. As such, this little joint seemed the perfect place for my fictional rendevous. Now it doesn't have the largest selection. You won't find much Mishima or Henry Miller, but dammit, it has character, which is more than I can say for the superstore that is borders. Sadly, I can't say too much, since waldenbooks is now pretty much a subsidiary of borders, but think of this place as the lower rent, harder-core version of your chain bookstore.
