If you want to stay at a great place that has something for both adults and children and a place that will make you think you are somewhere in the caribbean than this is the place. We have been going to the New Au Sable Beach resort , now Mai Tiki for years. The beach is incredible and the atmosphere is great. There is plenty for little kids to do and adults. There is a great Tiki Bar in the middle of the resort with both karoake and live entertainment. The new owners have made many new improvements from last year. There is a gameroom for the kids and and have added a movie night out in the sand with a huge inflatable screen. The new owners were very gracious and accomodating and we will be returning this year.
Pros: great for kids and adults, great customer service, awesome ambience

We always eat here several times while we are vacationing in the area. The food is great. Right on the AuSable River, the Inn has memorabilia from past canoe races (including winning boats) decorating the place. It is wonderfully done. The food is great, we never got anything we didn't like. Staff is friendly and attentive. A must-do when visiting the area.

This restaurant has a very versitile menu with American, Italian and Greek cuisine along with South of the Border. They have daily all-u-can-eat specials too. Very good food and the prices are good too. Great location and very clean. Highly recommend.

I was very pleased with the food and service. The atmoshere was very friendly. The owner sat us and was very friendly also. I had the London broil and was in heaven . It was so tender. I also have to comment on there millinium soup. It had so many different flavors my mouth loved it. But becareful not to stir it. That makes it so much better. The prices seemed a little high at first but after we were done we had no problem paying for it. Was definatly worth it. For me and my husband it ran 45.00 with the tip.

Great pizza, salads and pasta. Very nice place with good service. Nice location, clean and friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable. Fun place to meet up with friends or have dinner with your family. Highly recommend.

They have a wide selection for you to choose from and they have very good prices. They are also very friendly people.

There are 5 or 6 Gs in Michigan. We have eaten at almost all of them - they opened a new one in Saginaw or Bay City and we haven't gotten there yet. But we love Gs. The pizza is thin crust and really good. Antipasto salad is wonderful. But the best are bread sticks either with garlic, or the cinnamon ones with icing. Oh man, we can really overload on carbs at this place. They have a neat punch card that allows you to build up visits till you earn a free pizza. Use it all the locations. Located in Tawas, West Branch, and Houghton Lake too. I'm missing one, I'll add it when I figure it out. The West Branch location is easily accessible via business I-75 so stop in sometime on your way north.
