Some years back, this market was not very good but at some point, new ownership took over and it is a wonderful place now. It is always clean and well kept, and the workers there are always pleasant and friendly to deal with. The produce is fresh and very nice. They have a great selection available, including many ethnic items. Sometimes they will have some 'older' items that they have marked down ridiculously low - for example, I got some bananas that were turning just a *little* TINY bit brown & the market had marked them down to 10cents a pound! What a deal - I bought a ton of them, I took them home, mashed them up & froze them for use in banana bread recipes, smoothies & such. Great local market with great produce!
