Pirates Dinner Adventure is exciting from the moment you walk in the door. There's a pirate gift shop and traditional music filling the large, decorated party room. The evening starts with appetizers and a comical dramatic intro to the whole evening. The main show is full of sining, stunts, action and adventure. The food is excellent to the point where it almost distracted me from the show. The show seems to be more of a musical comedy than an epic tale as in some dinner theaters. This is definitely worth a stop on any family vacation!

Wow, what a disappointment! What food was served was horrible. For starters, the pre-show buffet consisted of standing in line for a tiny bit of pork on a piece of bread then making our way to the next line for a sliver of salmon on a cracker, then on to the next line for whatever and so on...it was not quite what we expected. And as for the main meal, well it certainly wasn't the "Feast" that was portrayed in the brochure and on the website. Let's see...one small ice-cream scoop of instant mashed potatoes and an equally small amount of runny stuffing accompanied by a few rubbery shrimp, one almost unrecognizable piece of lobster (by either sight or taste) and a small hunk of turkey. Oh yeah, and a medley of carrots, broccoli and cauliflower that could have been a bit warmer--this was the only food that there was enough of--as any amount was more than enough (actually, now that I think about it, I don't think we would have wanted any more of the other stuff posing as food either). This much-less-than-desirable food followed a tiny amount of salad fresh (or not so fresh) out of a bag for me and a small ladle's amount of vegetable soup for my spouse that brandished at best two pathetic green beans and a lowly carrot. As for the show-- it had its moments, but most of the time it was mediocre at best and it was often a strain to try to understand what was being said and follow the plot line, which was very different from what we expected. And it didn't help that while the adventure was going on tinkers were selling their cheap (yet not cheaply priced) wares (souvenirs) up and down the isles. This was the first time we have ever been to a dinner show, and after this experience it will most likely be our last. We ended up leaving early and had we known where a Denny's was located we would have used our 20% off coupon we received upon checking in and treated ourselves to some better food--how sad it that?

I did about 3 times and it was a lot of fun. The food was also great. and they keep it coming. Pirate Jack was my host pirate he made it all the more fun.

I took my family of 5 to Pirates on November 20, 2007, Great experience!!!!! What an adventure ! Christmas Pirates style a new twist. The cast were fantastic . The kids are still talking about it. The food was more than we expected for a dinner show. They really put a lot of thought into it. I would and will suggest this show to any family with kids big or small. It was worth the money. One of the kids will be celebrating a birthday soon and we plan to take her there to celebrate. My hats off to Pirates Dinner Adventure and thank you for being here in the Central Florida Area. Pros: The interactive parts of the show Cons: Paper Pirate hats- I think everyone should get one upon entry

I had a great time with my family, it was interactive, and fun! They engaged the audience the way good dinner shows do, and there was good food to boot. The kids in the crowd get a special part in the show and have a great time! You are active through most of the show and it is all fun stuff I would definitely recommend this to anyone, and I will definitely go again. Pros: Food, Great Energy, Lots of fun! Cons: a bit pricy

I read some bad reviews before going, and almost didn't buy tickets because of it, but my kids love pirates so we went. We loved it! It was full of excitement and all kinds of acrobatics. None of us could finish our meal- there was so much food! The free drinks were rarely empty. The pre party seemed tooo crowded and made me nervous feeling, other than that- I highly recommend if you like this sort of thing. My boys LOVED it!! Pros: Interactive, non-stop action, fun-funny Cons: , expect high tips

I took my family of 5 to the Pirate Adventure in 10/03, and it was terrible. The show was tacky and boring, and the food was pathetic. We were encouraged to show up early for pre-show buffet, but learned that the primary purpose of the buffet (potato chips and celery) was to try to sell junky pirate trinkets. If you're educated and at all discriminating, don't waste your money on this garbage. It was so bad it was almost funny-good.
