I enjoyed the dining experience I had at Sleuth's while I was in the Orlando area in the days prior to my beach wedding. However, I don't really think it was worth the money. The show was funny, but it was not hysterically funny. The mystery was too easy to figure out and I was uncomfortable with the seating arrangement of sitting at a table full of strangers. The actors were very personable and made sure to stop by each table and spend some time talking and joking with the diners before dinner. The food was OK, but for the price, it should have had a lot more flavor.

This is such a fun and cute golf course. There are two sides to this Disney Course, Winter and Summer. Both are very fun, although I find the Winter course to be slightly easier. The prices are a little expensive, but I believe you get a Florida Resident discount with a valid drivers license.

This resort is closest to Epcot and it is not far from the Boardwalk, either. Rooms are really nice, restaurants are upbeat and good, and the hotel is so spacious. It is across from the Dolphin hotel (I believe they are a pair) and the amenities are very nice here. I would recommend it for your stay!

This is another small retail store that actually has a huge selection of products. If you are having a party, whether it is a child's birthday, adult's birthday, wedding, or a themed party, this is the place to start! They even have a section where you can order invitations, get helium balloons, etc. The store has a huge variety of themes. Even if you are just looking for an idea for your party, this is a great place to look!

This inn has several buildings. I have stayed in the I.W. Phillips Househttp://www.orlandohistoricinn.com/Houses_IWPhillips.htm and Dr. Phillips House http://www.orlandohistoricinn.com/Houses_DrPhillips.htm on several occasions and each time had a very pleasant stay. Rooms range from funky, to eccentric to elegant. There are some fine antique pieces in some of the rooms and the proprietor is an art collector. Rooms have always been clean and my stays quiet except when there is a wedding reception or other such event. The grounds run toward Florida tropical gardens and for flora lovers, have an interesting variety of plants. A modest breakfast can be taken at a table on the front porch. The coffee is strong and they serve a nice variety of tea.
If you want to be near the attractions (Disney, SeaWorld, etc.), this is not the place for you. It is in easy walking distance of downtown Orlando, Lake Eola and Thorton Park. Since I now have a house in Orlando there is little reason to stay at the Courtyard. However, in passing I occasionally think I might just book a room for the weekend one of these days.

I am holding my wedding reception at Rio Pinar Country Club. The reception has not happened yet, but we have been dealing with the company for months now and have had a wonderful experience with them. When we went for our taste test, the food was incredible and they set a table up for us to eat in the ballroom where the reception will be held. They have been really great and helpful, and have answered all of our questions.

I have some photography background and was very picky and selective about our wedding photographer. I wanted very specific shots as well as someone with a good eye to catch the perfect pictures. My biggest pet peeve is photographs with dumb backgrounds, like exit signs or outlets. That drives me crazy. A photographer should know enough to move people or pick a better location. Florida Wedding Photo Services met my expectations and then some. The church we were married in is difficult to shoot due to low lighting & no flash photography allowed. They were costly but well worth the only remainder of our wedding we have. We got to keep our negatives too!

I have gone into "My Daughters Wedding" a few times, and have never come out feeling pleased. They are extremely overpriced: their clearance rack was still in the $1000's, and they have a very small selection in various sizes. I could not find anything under a size 6, and they only had a few dresses in a size 6. They do have some pretty dresses, and if you can find your size and can afford it then you may be pleased with My Daughters Wedding, but I have not been impressed by my experiences with the bridal shop.
